I do believe Ms. Ballenger is a very nice lady who genuinely cares about her students.She helped Whitney with her problems and helped a girl out who was having problems with a boyfriend going out with a friends of hers.It's very possible to be nice and strict at the same time.She seems strict when it comes to discipline due to 10 day suspension for fighting, 2 day in school suspension for leaving school grounds,etc.She's strict,but she seems fair and level headed when it comes to discipline

This kind of stuff is funny. I went to school with a bunch of kids with these attitudes. Like everyday we had people sitting in the office waiting got see the principal. One time we set a record of 20 people on waiting list to see the principal for misbehavior. I was astonished on how many kids got in trouble in one day.

In this case, while a fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, or eighteen-year-old should absolutley know better than to be this candid with disrespect, if I were an administrator, I would look into a student's home life to try and see why they act that way and why they're sleeping in class, because it could just be run-of-the-mill insubordination, or it could be a parent speaking to her that way and parents arguing late at night, or the child having to work long hours.

Sometimes telling someone to mind there own business is necessary. However when students are skipping/cutting class it's then the teacher or school officials business. Respect teachers/officials as long as they're respect everyone, respect needs to come from both directions.

If I said that in school I would get grounded for 2 weeks from my mom and 4 weeks from my grandma meaning I couldn't hang out at my grandma's house for the weekend to escape my mom and I would get grounded for additional 6 weeks from my aunt and my Key Club sponsor who would tell my Theater teacher what I said
