Watched your content for years, but that was not his take at all. He specially said ‘streaming can be more draining on your social battery after being on for 8 hours a day’ that’s literally all he said and live stream fails just clipped it out of context. Hasan specifically talks about workers rights and retail workers deserving better pay and conditions every single day for 8 hours a day.

Idk, if your good at something most of the time it comes more natural, but if you hate the games your followers want to see i can understand how it doesnt seem easier then working in a grocery store or something where you can mind your own business a lot of the time. From someone who's been in the workforce through many different jobs, I'm totally with you Goblin. You have had the experience of living in the trenches before and have talked about that period if your life many times in your videos. most of the top streamers haven't really had that experience in their life and are really just trying to get sympathy for doing the bare minimum for their fortune. I personally never take those kind of people seriously.

Some are downright delusional, as proved in the clip, arrogant, ignorant, self serving little urchins. The problem with social media is not only people thinking others care what they think, it’s people thinking every opinion they have should be monetised.

Not tryna glaze… but… Hasan got clipped out of context. He said “streaming is more *socially draining* than a non social 9-5 (a job not dealing with a lot of people like accounting or construction)” he never said it was as hard or harder than a real job in a general sense. The only reason he said this was because he was trying to explain why he’s self conscious about his low social battery, as he feels like an uninterested asshole in social scenarios, because he does a job for 8 hours that involves interacting with a lot of people. I’d feel the same way if I was a waiter, or a stripper, and I don’t think this take is anyhow controversial. Also he has had real jobs before.

i agree fully, I've been working at this retail place for almost 2 years and i'm also a full time college student, and i have to say it's draining af, depressing, and i have no social life. I've had plenty of my ex friends or friends get fired or quit over the stupidest shit and them working at a job with slightly less benefits that this place gives you. Every new guy that comes into my department i have to basically train them not to be stupid.. which is fine, but i have to tell them right from wrong and that there's always something to do, just don't sit on your ass and be lazy. right? i swear the amount of times i've had to babysit literal vegetables in the head is unfathomable, i would be so glad to sit on my ass for 4-6 hours a day and stream and make a living off that and travel, i'd probably be more happier then my shitty job fr, i don't even get paid as bad, i make $15.61 an hour just being in frozen/dairy. Sorry for the yapping but like this streamer you were talking about actually has no idea what it's like lol

There is not a single county in the US where a full time, minimum wage worker can afford a 2 bedroom apartment, say a single parent with a kid or two. That number of counties SKYROCKETS to 10% when you account for a one bedroom. The vast majority of Americans are trapped in the working class, completely under the heel of the capitalist class, robbed of their autonomy and freedom, completely alienated from meaningful relationships with other people, nature, and the fruit of their labor. All so they can be paid a wage lower than the value they produce, simply in the hopes that they might be able to afford to buy food to survive. Like gobby said, for these streamers to complain about their jobs is fucking wild.

asmongold literally made his whole career getting lucky ‘reacting’ to (stealing) people’s videos. it’s crazy spending 16+ hours a day in class and studying to see ppl like this tryna get on some discipline high ground, like bro, you have the dream job that’s literally just luck based with streaming, you got all the money, you got all the fans, why do you need to act like you work harder too?? it’s so unnecessary. craziest part is that it’s so non-alienating to his fans bc they put in so little effort at school/work that streaming would actually be more difficult than what they do, so they agree.
