Some viewers have just left some really odd comments that show me they saw the title, left a comment, and then proceeded to respond to other comments arguing their opinions without watching the video. I do not think my actual community friendos and those new to come, are idiots. I do think some people are just nasty to creators because they feel safe behind a keyboard.

You also have to realize the moment you offend their favorite character they turn into ravenous dogs, you are in your right to call these fools out. I play who I like. IL is becoming a favorite but I still enjoy my other dps’s it’s ridiculous to insult someone because you approach the character with a objective lens. You’re absolutely correct brother. Keep going. This is also coming from someone who is an Aloy main. So what would I know?

NGL I hated your POV for this issue at first, but then i watched the whole video and it totally makes sense for me, as an low spender bp and welkins, it would impossible to plan for if powercreep keeps on coming on like this. This video, is spot on. Seele is broken, but falls off 1v1 enemies so she has some limitation. Dan heng hits solo and aoe with att% and crit% boosters. He is gung ho dps with 0 limitations. I initially thought he wud be trickier to play, but he isn't. Future DPSs are going to have to be more broken than IL or irrelevant. 😂

Yeah ive been playing him with whoever i want. right now ive got him with QQ. they just use their normal attacks until they have ultimate while IL uses up the skill points. making his team isnt as hard as people say.

Yeah he's so overpowered I made a new account and seeing 20k hits on a level 50 Daniel and then a follow up ult for 15k is absolutely nuts, back then my Seele did like 15k on an ult and that was it and she had her cone, lol it's crazy how people thought Seele would be the god of the game for long long time and now this guy comes and blows her out of the water.

@@vitivv Because Seele was very ahead of the powercreep on her own while being the release character (and a character that a lot of people have too). But releasing a character that is so stronger to Seele which is herself way stronger than every dps that released before Dan IL set a stupidly high bar for future dps, and ultimately ages out very fast any other dps units.

I think only seele mains are the ones who are complaining 💀💀💀

The problem is Dan Heng's strength level. He's not as good as Seele, he's much stronger. Not only in single damage, but it's stronger than area damage characters as well.

this is me. I started right at the end of Kafka's banner and managed to nab her. I've been playing for just at a month and I'm trying to build out my 2 teams. (just got Gepard today, so M7 has been my shield since the beginning) I got sucked into the story pretty quick and Dan has one of my fav backstories so far...so I grabbed IL. I didn't really have the chance to prefarm because I was bouncing around with what I had trying to get a second functional team, but I've been working on leveling him. It's still going to take time to gear out him and the supports for him, so I'm not really seeing the big numbers yet. I've been using different supports regularly so I can see how the different characters play, and honestly, I'm gonna try and grab Seele when she comes back around because I like the way she plays. I don't see it as a one and done, I like having the options of different styles that the characters offer. (I should also stop letting the late night coffee talk for me)

​@@_shirou6275 They're same tier but not equal. Damage wise Seele is no match for Daniel even in single target. He just has the drawback of sp cost so he's the same tier as her. Seele also lacks multi target damage which isn't really ideal for moc 6+ with 2 bosses at once. If you look at prydwen tier list you can see that Seele's rank drops when there's more than 1 target, and Blade/Kafka isn't S+ in single target. Daniel is the only one who is top tier in all situations.

I think the main discussion is what it does for future considerations. Does the game get balanced for the outlier, do future characters need to match up to the outlier... Sets a tone where you wonder if maybe this guy is power creeping the game too early and too fast.

that's because he hits with 3 sp not 1 sp once they introduce a hunt characther that uses 3 SP to attack then that characther will hit for 1 million dmg.

it seems hunt characters will be defined by both their convenience and through special effects. For instance, Topaz and Numby seem to have a kit centered around follow up attacks, and so they buff up follow up attacks for other units too. Most destruction characters who do these numbers though can't really be run with other dpses, so I'm guessing that's how they will define each path. It's very similar with how kafka is defined as a dps unit - not through big numbers but through enabling different playstyles for new units.

​@@chadikhr7258I don't think that's how it works, but hunt are single target specialists, destruction can be anything i.e fire MC is a shield, blade and Dan are hypercarries, the thing about destruction is that they are usually burst specialists or require some kind of drawback, they don't specialise in aoe or dot, according to calcs Topaz won't be reaching Dan but she'll be pretty much better than Seele, this is a Hoyoverse game tho, they do not care if a character powercreeps older characters look at Hi3 and Genshin, the only reason no one really talks about powercreep is cause it's a single player game

@@chiesuta7810 Yeah they put lvl 90 yanqing there and he hits like a truck with lots of blades and speed. I cleared it today though, with e0 s1 Daniel today. He was with Yukong, fire MC and Natasha. And only with Yukong's buff he dealt over 200K per enhanced basic. So wasn't that hard 😂

It does start to matter when the game starts balancing content around the most powerful units, which is how a lot of gacha games including hi3rd have fallen into the powercreep trap

There can be another Super Saiyan like Seele. That’s A-Okay! I don’t want you or anyone to think that I’m afraid of powerful characters. The problem is just how much stronger he is than Seele for the same, if not less investment without his sacrifice being a matter. It sets a bar for future characters that release and brings the question “Is X character worth pulling or should I wait for YZ rerun?” Then that affects Hoyo’s pockets and then we get bad game making changes to increase their revenue. Daniel is basically SSJ3 Goku vs just SSJ. Lol

But after so many “MidYuan” complaints one could predict that his rerun banner might not get much love. Especially if he’s now compared with Imbibitor Lunae. Both use many of the same supports, but the outcome is different. And Kafka has the same element as him. Why pick the one that is harder to use. Lot of competition if you don’t care more about lore and other qualities in a character.

Yeah Inbibitor Lunae is simply competition and he's the only Character up until now who can actually stand against Seele which was utterly broken since Release. She transformed the whole game difficulty into a joke for People who had her. I don't know why he's such a feet licker about this and can't just agree when he's in the wrong. Or at least acknowledge it.

Because Seele released at the beginning. When nobody actually had investment into an account and couldn’t accurately test anything until at least 1.1. She was a strong precedent for what I expected Hunt characters to perform like, but then we got other classes. That opened up the argument for a bunch of people to comment “Oh well of course Jing is worse. He’s Erudition!” The games path system itself is flawed in design. Seele set the bar and it’s fine for Daniel to be up there with her. His power isn’t my issue, which I made clear multiple times throughout the video. My issue is that he gets all of this power, basically for free, and we now have to look at every other character as worth it or trash. Daniel does everything under the sun except heal, but when you can 0-cycle anything you want with piss poor relics, do you really need to heal? You not starting until after Seele has very little to do with the discussion because that’s a personal matter. Grabbing Daniel is great for you and possibly picking her up on the rerun. If you check some of my other opinions, I’ve also said Seele should be the only DPS everyone pulls for (before Daniel was a thing). However, I did not assume a rerun would happen until at least a year, which meant players needed to work with what they were given until Seele came out. It’s not about having a distaste for them. It’s literally the timing of which it’s happening and presenting a dramatic cause and effect. I swear it just sounds like you guys think I hate Daniel and only want Seele to be good or something. I never even hinted at that.

You literally state "What incentivizes any one to pull for any character that doesn't do the same damage as Seele or Dan Heng." That's absolutely valid and is a problem - but you don't hold the same energy towards Seele as you do DHIH. She's literally half of the equation to your problem. This doomsday scenario wouldn't exist of Seele was underpowered and only DHIH was OP - because you'd still have to pull for another OP character. Do you understand the frustration from your lack of acknowledgment or bias now? Even within your reply to me, you're excusing Seele's power level and why she's as strong as she is. She's a HUNT character that was S-S+ across the board for AOE scenarios and destroying supposed AOE characters in their own category (she was only downgraded from S+ to S 2 weeks ago on Prydwen). Compared to JY or Kakfa (and even Blade if we're talking about only DPS), she got all her power (& speed) for free as well. She appears 60.5% of the time in MOC as opposed to JY 36%, Kafka 44%, and Blade 42%. She was absolutely a problem straight out of the gate and conts to dominate till this day, yet you created a 20 min video basically blaming only DHIH. BOTH of them shouldn't be this over-tuned at this stage of the game. I don't know what other people are saying, but I agree that power creep is an issue and creating 2 OP characters creates a lack of incentive to pull for less powerful characters. But it took 2 to Tango, and I'd appreciate a more equal distribution of the blame for the problem.

I didn’t excuse her power level, nor did I excuse Daniel’s. But I can’t tell “powercreep! Powercreep!” At the beginning of the game. There’s nothing for it to creep at the very beginning. Like no one says The Flash power crept the other speedsters. He’s the original. Everyone says Wally power crept Flash/the others. The scenario is that they are the busted speedsters sitting at the top, but Wally achieved feats that Flash could or did not in record time. It’s not about hating Flash over Wally because of that. It’s just pointing out the cause and effect, then criticizing said effect. So when we swing back to HSR, again - I’m not demonizing Daniel. I’m saying that if we already had 1 super saiyan in the game, which they still haven’t fully adjusted MoC’s content to combat. Now they dropped an even stronger super saiyan (think Broly) in the game, WHILE STILL NOT having adjusted the game to the first super saiyan… now we have a problem. That’s the entire point of this vid. People’s sentiment about their favorite character is irrelevant to me, and that’s me saying it in the nicest way possible because that should’ve never been the takeaway. It’s just like when I said JY needs some changes to become an S+ unit and they crucified me on Reddit because I didn’t say “the General is the best DPS in the game, no debate.”

@@amscuda7822 there are active changes being made to it and last time i saw anything related to her dmg is basically almost the same and recently she got a buff its just that her eidolons dont seem all too good but they can get changed as well

that said, I wont pull for 5 star Dan Heng because so far, no part of the game is hard enough to warrant a GODLY levels of BIG PP DAMAGE. Unless that's the devs plan all along....
