Expect your life to become a nightmare and you could have PTSD, your thyroid go crazy, gain thirty pounds while eating like a pigeon, your kids are terrified, so-called social workers stalk your house sitting in cars. They’ll give your kids unwanted gifts and try to seem nice. One shows up to a hearing with wet hair wearing ratty jeans because she was out partying the night before. You could have a different case worker assigned every 8 weeks because they have so much staff turnover. Have an attorney present at all times no matter what because they flat-out lie over and over. If they ask you to sign things, don’t do it unless your privately hired attorney tells you it’s ok. They can change your hearing day and time and “forget” to notify you. It’s sad but the more government “services” they can get you roped into, the more money they make. So you could jeopardize your job trying to attend all the mandated appointments and other assorted 🐝 s.
