Thank you for showing how your Country processes firewood. I enjoy learning things, but as an American I don't speak Korean - so the subtitles make a BIG difference in how much I can learn from (and enjoy) your videos. It's so amazing to see the cleverness of entrepreneurs who don't or can't get machines to do what they need, and they have the freedom to create and modify equipment to do what they need it to. Thank you for showing what a free society can produce and how people are rewarded for their hard work and cleverness. 감사합니다!

We are a firewood factory in Korea. In Korea, we also dry well with oak trees gifted by nature and sell them as complete fuel.

They did both. The unsplit went to a secondary kindling splitter, custom sized for the wood oven.

Thank you very much for your interest. We sell dry firewood (moisture content less than 20%) by volume. In Korea, firewood is popular as a new energy. Our factory only sells dry firewood.

Завод по производству дров :) В детстве заказывали машину, нужное число кубов Привозили, потом пилили на более короткие и кололи их. Обходилось в копейки.

So a firewood processor that can do 2 cords/hour for 8 hours per day for 250 days yields 4,000 cords per year. If set up right for efficiency, that is a 2 man job but safer to have 3 workers for days off and sick time.

@@user-df2uf1rh8x bei uns in Deutschland lassen wir Eichenholz einfach unter freien Himmel trocknen 2 Jahre lang. Es kann ruhig mal drauf regnen, der Regen wäscht die Gerbsäure aus dem Holz. Sie ist nicht gut für Öfen und Schornsteine. Wenn sie soviel Brennholz herstellen, warum lassen sie sich nicht ein Gitter schweißen wo der ganze Baumabschnitt durchgedrückt wird und es kommen gleich die kleinen 10 x 10 cm Hölzer für Hähnchen Grill raus ? In so einem Hähnchen Grill würde ich gerne mal essen, es sieht sehr lecker aus. 😂 Grüße aus Deutschland 🇩🇪

A decent practical consultant could sort that mess out quite quickly I believe. If that is Koreas No.1 I would hate to see what sort of nonsense goes on at No. 2.

@@user-df2uf1rh8xabout $140 in USD at current exchange rate. I'd guess a pallet is around 2/3 of a face cord, or about 1/4 a full cord. A bit on the high side, but still reasonable. Especially for the quality of wood and since it's all oak. Oak has very high BTU per volume.

People do that everywhere. Doesn't always make sense to haul wood to a sawmill. Wood is a completely sustainable product.
