I feel like there are some real sick minds amongst the producers

The way that McKenzie Morales was treated on the show was absolutely disgraceful. She is such a talented and amazing dancer (look at her solo body love).

It’s so horrible that McKenzie had anorexia and everyone made those comments about her weight. She’s beautiful!

The whole situation with Brigitte manipulating a child is absolutely disgusting. Wow.

You could say Cathy is the most annoying or you could say she’s problematic. but I don’t care what anyone says, she was soooo funny. 😂😂

I see a lot of people think Candy Apples was fake for the show. Partially true. Candy Apples is a real dance studio in Canton Ohio and they are a competition studio. They were the original studio picked to be on DM, but after Cathy was informed about all the setups that were going to happen, she said no and backed away. They still needed her on the show however because she’d already signed a contract so she agreed to a “guest” role and ALDC was the studio picked as the main focus. After seeing the drama that was created, Cathy pulled her daughter and all her dancers away from the show, but due to contracts still had to appear, so that’s when they started bringing in the random dancers from all around. She didn’t want the show to damage her kids or their future careers. Some of her dancers are very technically trained and actually dance with ballet company as well - which is known to lead several to bigger ballet companies such as NY. I’m from Massillon which is a small town next to Canton so I’m quite familiar with CA and the drama that’s gone on. Cathy’s been very open (as have others) that Lifetime & Collins Ave are scummy and only in it for the money.

That's ironic Abby said she filed a restraining order against Anthony because he spit at her and put his finger in her face when she's the one who got in Kelly's face and put her finger in her face.

What happened to the Morales kids was disgusting and Bridget, Abby and others involved should all be ashamed of themselves. My heavens these were kids for crying out loud. I'm so angry they had to go through that.

Can you make a video about the racism that the producers and abbey were accused of. Looking throughout the series, people of color (Black, Latino, Asian, etc) tend to be stereotyped negatively and given “villain”/ aggressor edits. I would find it interesting to see a video covering the topic since I haven’t seen anyone do a full video on it

6:32 one thing I find disgusting about the producers is they didn't mind humiliating a child. Even humiliating a child to make another one look better. It seemed Chloe was their scapegoat.

I feel really bad for the Morales kids. I always knew that Lucas and his mom were terrible once the stupid thing came out. Like that lady was so desperate to get on the team. Body shaming and just plotting to go against some kids for a spot on the team is despicable. I also feel bad for Chloe being humiliated with the commercial. It was pretty pointless and it was just to have Chloe look dumb. Abby is terrible and so is Melissa for allowing this behavior. Melissa has always been so two faced.

I'm super disgusted by what Bridget did to Mckenzie! How on earth would an adult do that to a child for the sake of a TV show!!

We can all be grateful that the footage of McKenzie being forced to say whatever it was never aired. And who knows how many kids developed eating disorders or anxiety because of things Abby said to them on TV.

I think Kendall's reaction was real in the moment, when your a kid and adults are yelling and arguing it makes you cry, I don't think she's a good actress. I can't believe you can get a restraining order over someone spitting in your face, ahh rich people. And TBH I don't really understand the off aired drama

need to be convinced otherwise, but I am sure Abby had her hand in Chloe's beef jerky horror, or imo at the least knew of it but did nothing to stop it due to her hate of Chloe and her mom.

It is absolutely TERRIFYING how much control Lifetime had and still has over these people's lives. Even Abby, whether you love her or hate her, her name and company literally BELONG to Lifetime. And people wonder why the Zeiglers distanced themselves as far as possible from anything dealing with the show, to the point of not even mentioning it or the studio.

Could you do a video on AUDC (Abbys ultimate dance competition)? I feel like there was a lot of dodgy things that happened during the show on both season 1 and 2 like Abby and Kalani’s relationship, Asia and the older girls being mean to her and other things 💕 Great video 🙂

I remember the whole thing with the morales kids unfolding. I followed Jo on tumblr. I stopped watching religiously at that point because I was so upset for McKenzie (and Gavin). They are so talented and didn’t deserve that.

Yeah I was confused when Kendall “went to candy apples” both maddie and kenzie wore reused costumes so I could tell that whole thing was just fake. The show is so produced, edited, and fake you can’t believe anything you see on there

I fell that no one really focused on the candy apples because they were the rival team. But this video shows that Candy Apples cold have had their own dance moms series lol! And btw, just like Willow Watermelon, I still can't take jill seriously in that hat. It is one of my favorite lines from Christi, my favorite mom!!!

What I still want to know is how Kaya and Nicaya got on the show. They make it seem like they just came to the ALDC concert but they were actually on the show so lifetime has to have something to do with it ....

I think the producers told Jill to storm out, but they never gave Kendall the heads up first. So I think Kendall thought she was ACTUALLY dancing with the Candy Apples. I assume when they got in the car Jill told Kendall that it was all set up.

The thing that made it obvious that Candy Apples was a fake storyline was the season where Cathy poached a dream team of choreographers and dancers from all over the country. If you add up all of the expenses involved, you would have a 7 figure competition team. There is NO CHANCE that Cathy was making enough money off of that studio to justify the costs and just "beating Abby" wouldn't have been worth it either. It was the moment Dance Moms degenerated into a farce for me.

Hi! I absolutely love your series!

I understand that without the drama that the show wouldn’t be interesting. I get that you need to have conflict to create tension and suspense. I understand that some would like less drama on the show and I completely agree. Some fights I completely understand why they happened. Others like the Jill and the costume I find completely stupid. I’m not blaming any of the cast for their actions because they were under contract and it either you listen to the producers or quit. However that might be harder than they thought since they were stuck in the show for 6 seasons, with Kelly and Christi being the exception at least out of the OG moms. This is probably why I can’t stand season 6-8. The show became more about drama every single episode. There were rarely any genuine moments. Season 5 I’m mixed on since I haven’t seen much of it but I call it the transition season. Go back to the first 4 seasons and see how times the characters were just talking and hanging out. Yeah it lead to drama sometimes but some of my favorite moments are where the characters are having fun like Kelly and Christ having fun in Chicago riding the subway, the characters trying a wrap to loose weight, Jill taking care of broadway baby, the moms working together to make costumes, the wedding dress fiasco, and celebration they had after beating Cathy. Even some the behind scenes are funny and enjoyable. Although I like the show and some of the characters, I do hate some of the drama and fights. I still call the water fight iconic. Despite what a lot of people say I actually like Jill and Cathy. Most of the time they are so crazy that you just want to sit and laugh at them. Yeah they have annoying moments like every other character but I forgive them. Most of the moms I really do like. There are a few I don’t. Most of the lasted not very long. They were either uninterested or did something I didn’t like. But then again they were probably forced to say of the lines I don’t like but producers gave us something good and that was none other than Queen Holly. She the main reason I watch any episode after Season 4 Overall keep up the good work. Everyone stay safe and always love yourself. Love from the USA 🇺🇸.
