Create the Beautiful Golden Shine for Your Portraits in Photoshop! Also, learn how to turn the skin into Pure Gold just by using a few Adjustment Layers.
In this tutorial, we are going to learn how to extensively use Blend-If to create the metallic effect in the skin and apply Color Lookup Tables to add the touch of Gold. This effect adds much more depth, dimension, and glamour to a portrait without any manual dodging and burning.

Good way to bring contrast. I’ve been playing with color range selector to select highlights, mids and shadows and using them as masks for curves to bring contrast and to color grade. I’d combine the solid color technique with frequency separation to sharpen and get contrast while adding texture to skin for high end retouching.

Your teaching technique in this video and others is very good! You initially tell the viewer what is going to be learned and briefly how it is to be accomplished. Second, you demonstrate the steps for this process. Third, you briefly summarize the technique just demonstrated. In short, you tell what is going to be learned. You show how to accomplish task. Lastly, you tell what has been learned. Well done!

gave this a try. very good tutorial as always. easy to follow. my only problem was I chose a portrait with a lot of sun so the golden shine was as prominent as in the tutorial. but still made an improvement to the photo. going to experiment and add some luminosity and a bit of skin retouching and see how it comes out. thanks for this!
