I have been obsessing with this drama since 2016 till now . It has been 5 years already! Masterpiece plot and excellent actors, specifically lee yuri😘😘😘❤️❤️❤️❤️ I wish if there were the promise season 2😭😭😭

A true melodrama. Wished there were more chemistry and moments between Nayeon and Hwigyeong to show how much he loved her. Other characters kept saying that he really loves her but there weren't many scenes of them to show that. I think that Hwigyeong was actually the 2nd male lead since he didn't get much screen time.

so this drama killed her mother, her twin sister and her daughter ,took her kidney , deprived her fatherly love ,made the person she loves into a betrayer and gave her an evil mother-in law..... but the one who has a hand directly or indirectly to her predicaments gets to spend just 3 years in jail and she lost nothing ...

my first daily drama that had 100+ episodes, it taught me something called patience. great drama but I expected at least a kiss at the end.

Just finished the entire episodes. Highly recommended, one of the best Korean dramas ever watched. Thanks to the actors and actresses, and the production teams for such a wonderful effort to keep us entertained.

I actually like the ending of this drama. Now, all of them evil people are in debt forever with Lee NaYeon not only because of their crime, but her kindness. It will forever hurt them that the person they hate the most didn't turn evil like them no matter how much pain they gave her. It was the best punishment they could ever have. They will be forever reminded of Lee NaYeon not because of her revenge but because she still is kind to them no matter how evil they are. Sejin losing her memory is good enough for me. Losing her memory is another way for her to stop from doing bad things. Also, she's just another victim of her mother's evilness. I am glad the writer/s didn't put away NaYeon's real personality even after taking Do Hui's persona. That she just become stronger rather than being her twin. Lee Yuri did amazing playing three characters in this drama! I would love to watch her more!

Wow! The longest drama I've ever watched, but it's ok, It's not bad drama. Kudos for all the actors and everyone who played the part of the drama. They all deserve a big applaud from the audience ✌❤

I'm happy Nayeon and Hwigyeong ended up together. Although I do wish Yugyeong would have suffered more. She did so many wrong things and only got 3 years in prison. I truly enjoyed the ending!!!

I want to thank the actor for their amazing job, especially the one who played Nayeon/Dohui, Yunsuk and Sejin's mom. And I really feel sorry for the actress who played sejin's mom bc she was so good that I really hate her.

I'm confused about 1 thing and 1 thing only. Why are we justifiying how scary Sejin is by saying "it's her mom's fault that Sejin is a "bad person." From the very first 3 episodes we saw that even as a child how far she was willing to go. She literally stepped on glass to frame an orphan girl, just because her dad brought her a watch. She wanted to learn piano just to have the kid TaeJun (obession.) Sejin and her mom are situationally sorry and ONLY when it happens to them. When she got angry at Taejun for crying over his daughters grave instead of the child she miscarried WHILE at the gravesite she became a new kind of evil to me. But literally 0 character growth for them. They are villians through and through. And I think Teajun is trash...but like a human trash, somewhat capable of reason and has a heart. Sejin and her mom physcopaths and I wanted to throw up at this episode romantizing that Sejin and Taejun could end up together again. ...she's a physcopath. -_-

I like what nayeon did at the end, she didn't kill anyone but she put them in their place.

She said "your just going to ignore my daughter" wow. But when Nayeon 5 year old daughter was in the ground didn't she ignored her. Worse part was she was only 5. This trick is a whole grown ass women who was an accomplice to unforgivable deeds

Nayeon looked so gorgeous in final episode, I think it was the hair? Yes definitely it was styled so beautifully. 😏 My main disappointment with the ending however is I wish Nayeon had another baby again or at least they show her pregnant by Park Hwigyeong, that would've made the ending so much better and completed the plot title of Heaven Promise blessing Nayeon with new miracle of life. 😪😪 Sejin suffering from memory loss after her kidney surgery kind of made me cringe, like how do you get memory loss from receiving a kidney transplant? Hmm I guess it was sort of justified in the end right? I mean with everything that happened, enough damage was done from the revenge plot, so writers did somewhat a reset to Sejin character to make her pure again, but still lingers the possibility she could regain her memory if she pursue Kang Taejoon again? The thought of that is scary. Love this drama thou, one of my favorites of 2016 and definitely best daily drama in a long time.👍👍

Sejin : How did this cute, sweet looking girl end up dying? Me : You killed her. Sejin : Have I ever met Saebyeol? Me : Shut up b*tch, you were her freaking murderer. Sejin : Didn't i really adore her? Gyeongwan : *Chuckles* Me : OH MY GAWD.

I found myself watching this until the end. Congrats to all actress and actor they got us, our feelings and make the whole show finish.👏👏👏

One if the best Korean drama I've ever watched, there was so much suspense, hatred, bribery, on going family issues, an iunpredictable romance, thank you for this brilliant, wonderful, awesome, amazing drama, much appreciated, with a happy ending.

I didn't love the ending, but I don't think it was as bad as some where making it out to be. My thoughts on this drama: 1) It was so annoying (the characters and the story) in some parts, but that made it so much better in the end! 2) I LOVED Nayeon's shoes. 3) I wish they hadn't tried to make every character have redeeming qualities in the end. 4) They used every Makjang characteristic: *Love Triangles *Birth Secrets *Car Crashes *Amnesia * Incurable Illnesses *Throwing Water *Slapping *etc. The list goes on and on! They really threw everything in there. 5) Although I didn't think it was too long, I also think it could have been a few episodes shorter. 6) I'm very thankful KBS subbed and uploaded the entire drama! I wish more companies would do this. I didn't know that they were doing this and actually downloaded all 102 episodes and their subs. That was a lot of time I could have saved. Also, especially in the first few episodes, the subs here were a lot better and more complete.

I literally come back every year to watch this drama again and again. So entertaining

This is the only 100+ drama I watched without skipping. Great drama and loved the main actress Lee Nayon.

I also finished it without skipping any episode... its really worth watching.... heartfelt and intense drama.... a grand applause even there are times that some scenes are not usefull

Sejin doesn't deserve amnesia, she needs to pay for murdering Saebyeol. And Yugyeong only getting 3 years for attempted murder?! HOW. JUST... HOW. What about leaving Yunae to die on the street? What about kidnapping Nayeon and having her put in a hospital? What about trying to throw Hwigyeong's mom in a nursing home? What about almost killing Hwigyeong's mom by throwing her against a wall? What about sending Dohui to her death? What about also being responsible for killing Saebyeol? What about almost causing the collapse of Baekdo Inc., which Hwigyeong got stuck with to fix? And that's just Yugyeong's crimes! Don't even get me started on Taejun! He gets to go study in America after... abandoning his wife and child, letting 2 evil women murder her, going along with Yugyeong's business schemes to make AP Foods fail, torturing Nayeon after finding out her identity secret, and for being an overall horrible human being. Papa Idiot deserves worse than a farm life too. He threw Nayeon away as a child AND as an adult. Plus the writers didn't tell us how Hwigyeong's mom is doing with her dementia. This drama has one of the worst endings ever. Lee Yuri was the only reason I watched this and she deserves better. I need to find out the names of the writing team so I can avoid any dramas made by them in the future.

Seijin May have been evil ,but I love Hana Park, she’s my favorite Korean actress. I think I like her better when she’s not playing evil characters though, has anyone been watching Fatal Promise ,she’s in that ,she’s the protagonist.

I fell in love with most characters and hated some of them for how evil they were. This drama has definitely left a great impression on me and gave the song "Ave Maria" a more special meaning seeing as every time I listen to it I get reminded of Dohui and Nayeon ♥️ A great drama.

Its 102 episodes and I watched it for 4 days without missing any episodes..Naeyong, Yugweoung, Taejin, Sejin, they are all good actors..Its agreat story..my first time to watched a long drama. I usually watch dramas with only 16 0r 20 episodes but I was really hooked on this drama..Kudos to the actors, director and the crew....

I guess not everyone around here watches a lot of Korean dramas, or knows a lot about Korean law. I know here in the US, attempted murder would be at least a 10 year sentence or more depending on the state, but I've seen other K dramas where characters have gotten that much time for homicide. So as little of a sentence as it was, it was probably fair under Korean law, especially since no one actually died and Sejin was speeding at the time of the accident. And as for the original accident, Yugyeong didn't have any criminal responsibility in Yunae's death. Morally what she did was reprehensible, but even leaving the scene of the accident wouldn't have gotten her that much of a sentence under Korean law. Plus the statue of limitations would've undoubtedly passed after 20 years. And like Taejun, she probably settled with Hwigyeong and Baekdo Group for the bribery and embezzlement. As for Sejin suffering... yeah, I wouldn't have mind seeing her behind bars next to her mother as well. But I think between her miscarriage, never being able to have children, a terrible biological father, and losing Taejun, there was supposedly some sort of justice for her as well. Honestly, Sejin wouldn't have been such a horrible person if not for her mother. She was annoying and pathetic, especially when it came to the way she got Taejun and tried to hold onto him, but again that probably all went back to realizing her whole life was based on her mother's deception. I definitely hold her morally responsible for Saebyeol's death and even wonder the difference Nayeon's presence would've made to Saebyeol's recovery, but again, I don't think you can legally hold Sejin responsible for upsetting Saebyeol the way she did before her death. The real problem with Sejin was her getting away with having to live with the consequences of what she did by having amnesia. Now I could have lived without THAT crap. It was enough she had no real criminal liability, but to basically erase all moral responsibility as well was more than a little ridiculous. Personally I'm glad for the way it ended as far as Nayeon was concerned. I could've used a kiss between them as well, but I'm definitely baffled by the people who wanted Nayeon back together with Taejun. He was a spineless coward who knew exactly what was being asked of him in the first place when he went to America. He tried to make Nayeon responsible for his decisions and his infidelity. And he was too scared to step up and do what he knew was the right thing. The last thing I wanted was her back together with him. Even with being related to Yugyeong, Hwigyeong was a far better choice for Nayeon than Taejun. If there's any other problem I could bring up about the show it's Taejun's mother not really paying for the role she played in everything, but then again she was repeatedly treated like crap, and had basically nothing to show for herself after all the pain she caused and was forced to admit that she was a fool for everything she'd done in the first place. And honestly, that was really all Nayeon was after, for everyone to repent and reflect on what they did. She didn't want to kill anyone. She just wanted them to appreciate the pain they'd caused by suffering the consequences of their actions.

I feel live I've grown up with all the characters, I will really miss them :'(. Great show 5/5

Wow I just love this drama. Even the ending was perfect. I thought baek would be going back to kang taejun but she didnt and end up with the one she was meant to be. I'm so glad that it end happily and with the right person. They both deserve each other

I binned watched this series in 3 days. I came across it on Facebook and followed the suggestion to watch it on here. A great show so will be looking out for more Korean dramas. Definitely took my mind off of Covid 19 and another lockdown here in England.

It might not be the revenge you wanted but Nayoen got her revenge (either they realize what they did and repent or she destroy them). Jang sejin realized that was why she protected nayeon. The dad realized and begged for forgiveness. The mother realized after almost losing her child then spoke the truth. She didn't really kill Nayeon's mom she drove her to death, she was charged for attempted murder on nayeon so was given 3yrs. . After watching this movie twice I realized that she got her revenge and her love.

I need to find more dramas by this screen writer or director!!! Baek Dohui was my favorite and when she left, I was devastated!! Bravo! Second 100+ drama I’ve seen and it was the better of the two!! Whoever made this please continue to make more kdramas like this !!

I have to say that i dindn't like the ending, i mean Sejin never realized all the bad things she did all the time she blamed others for her mistakes or the ones around her always justified her actions.

I don't feel satisfied with this ending at all because of Sejin. Oh well, atleast Nayeon is happy again.

I loved the ending music of this drama that always starts with the sound of shattering glass. Ending was quite nice.

Nayeon has a purest heart and at the end her forgiveness free them all... She wants to yugeong to repent her sin and begging for her daughter's life.. 😍

I'm happy Hwigyeong and Na-Yeon are together at last but this was reeeally a long way for them..

Honestly, there are several things that should've been made clearer in the final episode, and I felt like it's a bit too short. Its clearly not what I expected. BUT, I really live how every character in the story was given a fresh start, a second chance, in life. Nice plot, and very great casts. *thumbs up*

This was the second time for me watching Heaven's Promise.... I just love this drama so much T_T... I'm truly going to miss watching all the characters. Especially the actress who played Park Yugyeong is really talented. Everyone suffered a lot so watching a good end (a new beginning) for everyone warms my heart ♥♥

I don't like the ending. it's not satisfying! sejin did a lot of wrongdoing throughout the entire show and what REAL punishment did she get? on top of that, Yugyeong was living in the lap of luxury up until she went to jail and only got a 3 year sentence?! I know they had to cut the drama short but overall I'm not impressed with the ending.

Park Hana was so pretty and wished she acted as a good person. Always given roles of bad characters. The actor who played Sejin's uncle really handsome but seldom see him in any leading roles. I didnt feel sorry for the evil mum of Saejin when she cried as she was the one who caused such serious injury to her daughter. Agreed with a comment she was an excellent actress as she made my eyes teary when she broke down to cry.

still im not satisfied with the ending.. after all these horrible acts of sejin and her mom, only in last ep the evil mom 'really' suffer??? did the writer really forget abt the painful death of baek do hui and lil sebyul?? and no loveydovey moment between her dad and nayeon?? or at least with huikyung?? and what abt the WILL the huikyung's dad given to them?? what is this???

Koreans don't seem to have gotten it down with these endings.... In general the first 20+ episodes are good, then the 21st-24th are draggy, then the last episode is just an eh. Endings usually do not justify why episode 1-24 was even worth watching.

Never thought i was ever going to reach till the end. In this era, second male leads never gotten happy endings, but looking back to this-- im in tears. Eveything is perfect.

K dramas are good , they hook you for the whole drama but at the end they never fail to disappoint, all of a sudden the evil person becomes good, they are forgiven for all the damage they have done and they all go happily ever after. They're just ridiculous!

I really will miss this. One of the best revenge daily dramas that KBS has done. Two Mothers was also excellent, but this one was better as I felt more connected to the characters. I loved Kim Hyeri's portrayal of Park Yugyeong, she really fit the character well. Park Hana was excellent as Jang Sejin, she always is excellent xD and I can't forget Lee Yuri as Lee Nayeon/Baek Dohee, excellent acting and she fit the characters well. Goodbye The Promise! (Btw the next drama is Secrets of Woman/Woman's Secret starting Monday I think on KBS World although I watched it on myasiantv)

Taejun out of the shell, its seems both were obsessed. Taejun for money & Sejin for Love. But Taejun realize he's no longer interested with Sejin in his life since he is smart and intellectual he can do good for his future.

Done watching after 3days thanks for the roller coaster rides of emotion. This is one of the best drama I've ever watch. I will missed all the characters specially Nayeon 🥰🥰🥰
