I just had an idea and hopefully you'll see it and think it's a good one. What if they did dlc for game 1 factions that didn't require game 1. So if you buy the lord pack, you can play that lord's faction in game 2 even if you don't own game 1. You could then have another vampire counts and Empire dlc that also includes say wood elves and another pack that is dwarves and orcs that also includes beastmen. This would solve the dlc for dlc problem since it's bundled with other races and unlocks factions to play even if you don't own game 1.

BeatNik the Hydra and the Kharybdiss shared the same model, just like the carnosaur and troglodon do. So I’m not ruling it out. However, the cygor and ghorgon do as well, but I assumed animating a second set of arms might have be more intensive than glorified head swaps.

I think Warhammer 1 thrived off having a near constant drip-feed of content to give players reasons to keep returning to the game. Warhammer 2 has been long 6+ month waits for, overall, incredibly strong content. Both approaches have advantages and disadvantages.

The fact that there is a Cold One Spear-Rider unit that is specifically stated to "not rampage" as a perk disappoints me. Saurus are known for their discipline and those that ride beasts have a natural mastery over the beasts that carry them; as a result, I think rampage should be removed from Saurus units entirely (and other "actual Lizardmen" for that matter; rampage is okay on the feral units).

This dlc looks Amazing and one thing I've realized is give the team doing trailers a Raise. I wasn't super hype about tomb kings...saw the trailer and blew me away had to get it. Vampire coast had a Bombastic and crazy trailer had to get it (still the best one imo). Now get a total predator jungle shooting mini gun ref and I'm just as pumped up. Fantastic trailers and people working on them.

To be fair Indypride about the Troglodon, they might give it the Kharybdiss treatment. It might pop up in a couple of months or so as FLC. I mean it is essentially just a reskinned Carnosaur, they just need to get the model working, some sound affects, some abilities, and it is ready

bh5496 not really. They aren’t that different, I mean their models share the exact same box. The Trogolodon could easily have the Carnosaurs skeleton, it just needs tweaks on the model, a few different animations, abilities, and sound affects

With the Troglodon, remember last time we got the Queen and the Crone they kept something back for a couple weeks (Presumably to finish work) and after the DLC launched, we got the Charybdis. Same with Tomb Kings later down the line getting Bone Giants. Never say never with it, especially since they probably can use the Carnosaur skeleton in the same way the Charybdis uses the Hydra Skeleton.

Seems like a really nice DLC, I just hope that it adds some more Campaign stuff for the Lizard and Rat factions that are not the ones added. I would like some new unique buildings for example (especially in the Southlands) Also: I kinda think that there might be another small DLC for every Faction of game 2

Hey Andy I think CA are starting to update old factions. With this update there is a lot of changes to BRETONIA! Hopfully they will keep this going. Check out the Q&A on the DLC loads of changes happening, including adding the trident for ALBERIC!

Hype! I think the idea behind the warp fire thrower RoR is that, since one of the biggest weaknesses of units of that type is their short range, CA is trying to make them a more hybrid unit that will dps at the start, then sit in melee and tarpit when engaged. But I don't see it ending well. I imagine they'll be far too expensive for a tarpit unit, plus unless warpfure throwers are getting massive buffs they'll be just as awful at a range.

The must be an override button on all warstone based weapons which allows them to do more damage. At the same time recieve damage or negative traits

I like that the cold-one spear rider Ror is just the version of the unit from before the lizardmen cavalry was nerfed out of existence.

Definitely best LP yet. Q&C focussed on LL mechanics, but this pack seems to have mechanics just as good and almost twice the quantity of units! Not to mention adding in Kroak AND a new LL for free! Oh, and adding in Under Empire for Skaven too! There is certainly stuff I would have loved to see (Verminlord and Trog), but this pack looks amazing.

The one thing im not sure about is the skaven rattling gun. My only other reference to the thing's fire rate is from vermintide where it is a lot faster. I kinda hope that the actual release version of the gun is very fast firing (more than was shown in trailer) with bugger all for accuracy, as it should be.

Looks great. Lord Kroak was totally a surprise! No Troglodon is a shock to me. I thought that one was gonna make it for sure. The non legendary Slann Priests needed some love too. Few more different variants and a buff to their survival kit. Maybe a small templeguard escort?

In the skaven lore many crazed warlocks only trust themselve to ride a Doomwheel to battle. The a warlock riding a doomflayer is rather new though, but i still love it. Hopfully those regiments of renwon can also be used by other skaven factions

This looks awesome. I must say the lack of lion chariots and dragon mages REALLY bummed me out on the elf DLC, I would really appreciate going forward with something that fleshes our old factions! (Wood elf lords I’m looking at you too)!

Oh, man, this is so great! I can't wait for this DLC! (Just hoping that Skaven weapons teams, Jezzails and artillery and Magic are someday going to be the Hit and miss highly volatile and unreliable that they were in the 6th edtion Skaven army book. I sure miss the seeing my Ratling Guns misfire and end up gunning down my own troops.) honestly I feel like some of the exclusions fall under things like "there is already a unit (or two) that would fill the niche", or "the exclusion of the unit is a balancing choice", and maybe even "the unit fills too much of a niche".

Hope Skryre get's a good colour sceme. The very bright-ish green now is a bit too brightish green for me.

I looooove this anncoument but does anyone know Telehuin's startiing location? Ikit Claw starts in The Star Tower so if we get Gor-Rak he's gonna start in Itza, and I'm using "IF" loosely =P
