A professor at Azusa Pacific University walked my daughter’s class through deconstructing their faith. And just left them with nothing. This was 10 years ago and I didn’t understand what was happening. Her boyfriend came out of that same college without his faith and he comes from a strong Christian family as well. Praying they come back to God before it’s too late. I don’t quite have an understanding on what happened to prodigals at the rapture.

are the kids you are sending to college/university as strong in their faith as Daniel, Shaddrack, Meshach and Abednigo? Have your kids been trained up like the faithful 4 and can go into a hostile anti Christian environment and still hold to their faith at any cost?

Brandon, you keep saying, “Gog and Magog war”. Maybe you picked that up from Jan. Although there are different translations it is clear that Gog is a person and Magog a country or area. If you look at this translation, “Gog, from the land of Magog, the chief noble of Meshech, and Tubal”, you might think that a person from the land of Magog gets to be prominent in this other area (presumably Turkey) and launches an invasion with his allies. Back in the Cold War days if someone said, as they did say, that the USSR was the modern version of Magog, I wouldn’t have quibbled. Today it is less certain. Herodotus pointed us to the area north of the Black Sea. Yes, the guys there are getting experience in vicious warfare, but that land Herodotus indicated could be modern Ukraine or the northern Caucasus. The other stand-out feature of that area north of the Black Sea was that it once proclaimed itself Jewish even though the people were not necessarily descended from Abraham. So there are two scenarios here: a grab at tiny Israel for resources (from super-resource rich nations) or a grab at Israel for gold, silver and cattle (maybe red cattle) that have genuine religious significance to prop up a religiously inspired northern leadership.
