Henrietta "Suga Mama" Proud is Penny, BeBe, CeCe's grandmother, Bobby, Oscar's mother, Trudy's mother-in-law, and Spice's younger sister. She is a hip, wrestling-loving grandmother who does Tae-Bo. She is very sassy, and always gets straight to the point when she talks. She constantly insults, discourages, and beats up Oscar but deeply loves him.

Suga Mama was right about Penny’s friends, they are fake friends except for Zoey. Honestly, if I were Penny I wouldn’t give up the money. I would rather be alone then having friends like that would stab you in the back. Nothing wrong being successful but there are several things wrong if you stay with two people with one that insults you and your family and the other spreading gossip and manipulating you. Better to be without them.
