In a small town in the American West, John Chandler consults Dr. Enos Davis, for his son David, who has been rendered mute by a traumatic shock. The doctor, powerless, recommends it to a specialist colleague. Leaving the doctor's office, John is caught in a fight with the sons of Harry Burleigh, a sheep farmer. Brought before the court, he escapes prison thanks to the intervention of Linnett Moore, a widow managing her farm alone, who collects Chandler for community service. Soon, the opportunity arises to send David to consult the specialist, but the money is short and moreover, John is again confronted with the Burleigh clan.

Un film sublime avec un protagoniste d'acteur principal au maximum qui interprête le rôle d'un père fidèle et inquiètant sur l'avenir de son enfant qui avait perdu la parole, et ainsi faisant de tout pour enfin réussir à retourner à parler, et de l'autre côté la patrone d'une ferme était sur leur route et qui a fait partie intégrante de leur vie en leur donnant un coup de main qui a fini par la suite à l'union. Un film qui ne manque guère de sensibilité, plein d'amour et d'affection mais aussi de tuerie et de vengeance des cowboys. Fondamentalement ça été toujours ainsi la vie du lointain Western. Merci beaucoup pour le partage.

Amazing, fantastic and truly a beautiful movie which is full of love and affection. Story of the movie was quite unique and excellent. The movie is at the climax of love by a father, his son and the young lady. End of the movie was graceful and remarkable. I congratulate to all the actors, story writers, directors, producers and participants for presenting such a beautiful movie.

Dans les années 60 nous avions beaucoup de westerns. Cela nous rappelle notre enfance. On adorait ... Maintenant c'est autre chose. Les films sont trop violent.

Es una gran película, una bonita historia, felicitaciones por la buena imagen y el buen color, así debieran de ser todas la películas, pero a veces nos colocan unos tapados en los que no se ven sino sombras, muchas gracias.

Alan Ladd , je savais qu'il avait une fille qui je crois s'appelait CHERIL LADD ravissante, blonde comme lui mais pas un garçon nommé David Ladd. Magnifique film et merveilleux acteur de mon enfance comme dans L'HOMME DES VALLEES PREDUES que j'ai vu lorsque j'avais 7 ans au cinéma dans les années 50., et ses film en noir et blanc dans des rôles de policier avant de passer aux western. Avec mes deux frères on joué aux Cow Boys et aux indiens, j'étais toujours Garry Cooper et Alan Ladd. Il a toujours eu des des rôles de gentil dans ses tous ses films et je crois qu'il en était de même dans la vie. 😂😆😄😀😃

I am 77 years, and always liked Alan Ladd’s movies when I was still a teen. That was the first time when I saw this movie. I still enjoy it even now. That boy in the movie is his real life son, David Ladd who used to act in few other movies with his father Alan Ladd. Thanks for sharing this movie on KZfaq .

I liked Alan Ladd from Shane. I like Olivier de Havilland from Gone With The Wind . The two stars played together in this film. It really made this film great . I liked it.

cielos chemtreados en aquella época... jajaja... Qué fuerte... Están utilizando técnicas informáticas para cambiar los cielos de los clásicos. Esta película es un ejemplo.

Gran película!!. El final es triste y feliz a la vez. Pura emoción!!. La tuve que ver dos veces. Me encantó la actuación de Olivia, Alan y su hijo. Aunque el niño no fue al único que le faltaba hablar..el perro desempeñó una roll estelar!!.😂😂Muchas gracias!!
