i also ***lowkey*** think michael is old man consequences so this would nicely conclude his character.

Yknow I just heard of this theory but the more I learn about it the more I buy into it. What I noticed that I find very interesting is with the footage of the FNAF 4 cutscenes, Foxy-Bro’s pixel art head silhouette looks extremely similar to Old Man Consequences head; square teeth and elongated snout with a open bottom jaw.

Yeah people headcanoning Willam as a loving parent is legit so weird-all evidence points to him being a child murdering piece of sh*t that Micheal and Henry gave their lives to burn.

Ikr. I have nothing against AUs where he's a good parent but people trying to argue that canon William is also like that are just delusional atp.

It always pisses me off that its "problematic" to call a literal child murderer an abuser. It's so clearly referenced in midnight motorist and its just sad that people don't want their "uwu daddy child murdere hehehe so hot" to be a horrible person even tho he is.

And you forgot that he offered himself as a disguise for Ennard willingly! There was nothing stopping him from... moving aside when the Scooper was activated. He might be too shocked, physically tied, or something, but that's never shown. And, having him as a sort of sacrificial lamb, a man who hates himself so much that's willing to die if that will set his sister free. Isn't that what William told him to do? Save her. Isn't that, *what he was meant to do*?

The fourth closet novel itself has dialogue that's Elizabeth asking William if she's enough and his response is literally "No, you're not".

love this analysis and the way you absolutely call out the abuse. so many people today still only view abuse as "hitting your kids". it is so much more complicated than that.
@tomjoy_

this is amazing. as someone who’s gone through abuse from a parent, this is extremely accurate. the love and attachment you have to your parents will always be there, hence micheal’s need to validate his traumas, even through seeing himself as a reason for it instead of blaming william; i’ve always seen mike as an abuse victim in that way. this is so wonderfully written and extremely well thought out! ♥️♥️

Personally, I think that it wasn't Michael being experimented on, but it was another child. My theory is that Nightmare/Shadow Freddy is the cause of Michael's nightmares in FNaF 4, and he is using the memories of the children who were experimented on to torment Michael. There are multiple lines in UCN that suggest that Nightmare is the personification of William's evil, and it's possible that he was feeding on the agony and trauma of the children to grow stronger, and because of that, the memories of these children are somewhat imprinted into him, and he can use that to torment Michael.
@typhoelogy
@typhoelogy Ай бұрын
@@trumpaigaming7632 yes i like ur interpretation too, because either way regardless, it shows william is straight up disgusting - even if he wasn’t experimenting on michael or not.

@typhoelogy yeah, I don't get the "William's a good guy" theories. He doesn't care about his kids at all, and he's more interested in benefiting himself than anyone else.

This is quite a good analysis. To me at least, William Afton was a dysfunctional man before 1983, as in the Silver Eyes Carlton makes a comment about Bullies and Petty Tyrants while observing William. Implying he also sees someone who has been abused and neglected by their own family. The relationship with his children is quite complicated, while there is abuse there, I think his “love” for them is just a mixture of narcissistic control and viewing them as sentimental objects/tools like toys. Hence why he has lines such as “Bittersweet, but fitting” where he’s morose about killing Mike, but still can’t help commenting on the poetry of the situation. Also, he laughs in one line saying “you may not recognize me at first, but I assure you, it’s still me” making light of his transformation in a joking manner, like a family relative you haven’t met in a long while making light hearted banter between the two of you when you meet again. This to me, reads that William has a broken or twisted or minimalist sense of “compassion” where he sees his children and wife as both extensions of his ego and as tools that carry emotional value. “I will put you back together” is the words of a repairman looking at a damaged item, not the words of a truly benevolent father, or in other words I’m in the middle between the theories WillCare and WillDespise, which I’m calling WillMinimalist.

My heart whener I see people talking about Micheal is 👌👌👌👌👌 Mike is one of my absolute favorite characters in this franchise Amazing video Let's also not forget that we can ear for Elizabeth how he was phisically abusive of her as well He is a textbook narcissistic, serial killer, sociopath, abuser of 3 children and probably killed his wife 'cause I cannot believe their mother would not see what is happening and trying to get away with the kids But that would ruin his image wouldn't it? Would make him look less good than Henry, no? Damn I fucking hate William. ;v;
