I’m in tears because the guy I’d been dealing with for almost 3 years has some of these prominent placements . Not that I hadn’t already pieced together most of this but I’m just heart broken because I feel his constant need for validation from friends and emotional neglect towards me is what ultimately led me to walk away about a month ago . 🥺 I also have sun rahu conjunction and Pluto in my 10th house. I too grew up with an egomaniacal, womanizing, emotionally and physically abusive father . I still feel there is so much love between him and I but I guess the generational trauma won this time . 😭

Re your college acquaintance’s ex… I think another way of looking at it is that he’s denying himself his own happiness by breaking up with her (Sun is sense of self and Ketu is severing). I’m curious, Do you remember if he had any other configurations like afflicted Venus or 7H/L?

That might be the case, also. Unfortunately, I don't remember anything except the Sun situation, it was about 10 years ago.

this is very interesting. i studied in chinese zodiac that men who have daddy issues also have troubles to have relationship with women.😅

It also makes sense psychology-wise, because kids learn relationships from their parents, so without good father figures, they have no idea how to treat women. I was just drawing the lines to astrological placements that show the same thing, basically.

Re-watching this now after part 2, I’d just like to add a few of my experiences (I’m not a man though so i’m not sure if this applies) * I have Tropical Pluto in 5H and I had a pretty stable (boring) childhood. Maybe not the happiest per se, but definitely leagues better than most of my acquaintances * My father has many of these aspects, had an absent gambler father who died young. * Father prefers the company of women (never cheated though), so isn’t really “one of the guys” cause he isn’t interested in conventionally manly stuff like drinking, sports and chasing women. He doesn’t (seem to) have a huge ego (maybe only around my mother, but she puts him in his place real quick). However he DOES always seek friendships, and this often leads to him being a submissive people pleaser for both his male superiors and other women. He’s been screwed over a LOT and doesn’t even realize or just accepts it. Very validation seeking. Overall, this is pretty accurate! With all these mommy/daddy issues, it seems like these men prefer to seek out partners who are more “dominant/assertive/confident” than them. Just a generalization, of course.

"it seems like these men prefer to seek out partners who are more “dominant/assertive/confident”"Right, that can also be a consequence, which goes hand in hand with the low confidence/self-esteem issues I talked about in this video. The Sun being damaged in a man's chart basically means his sense of masculinity is damaged, so he's not comfortable in that energy, especially without working on his issues, maybe through therapy. Low confidence can also translate to being afraid to pursue the women they really like. It's a combination between that and also looking for women who remind them of their mothers, who, as I said in part 2, are forced to wear the pants in the family many times.

I have many of these and had such an abusive relationship with both parents people have been telling me I should write memoirs for over a decade. As for Pluto it's not in my 10H, it's in my 11H, but it is conj my degree MC (8° orb). It also had many Plutonian extreme, transformational, death like qualities.

I know someone with sun ketu in libra (vishakha) with aspect from saturn in capricorn moon rahu in aries (bharani) Saturn is 4th lord in 3rd house Mars could be in ardra if not mrigashira p4 I'm not sure who is more the issue between the mom or dad. Maybe some help here?

I wonder if Sun Ketu manifests in females as a "pick me girl" sort of energy 🤔. I've been reflecting on someone in my life who has this placement in their 3h and it makes sense ., The absent father archetype gives an unstable sense of self confidence and over reliance on male validation, causing them to knock other women down to boost themselves up.
