The problem with comic books is that a spidey comic as its written for spidey fans will never show spidey losing. He may get beaten but he wins in the end. Still i suggest reading The Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe (if you can get it). It shows it is possible for one man to kill a hero (or lots of heros in this case)

Why cant he die from bullets or from electrocution? Why cant Punisher beat Wolverine in hand to hand combat? You need to chillax and just read the comics and enjoy them, be they Superman, Captain America, Punisher, Spiderman or the X-Men.
