The puppy learned to swim in the lake! So today was day 2 of our unplanned camping trip with the dogs and the new RV! We did a lot today, as the weather was super nice! First we did a little Jeep ride with Jamie's dad, and then we took the dogs swimming in Lake Michigan!

Since tomorrow's going to be 97 with a heat index of 106 a swim in the lake sounds really good. Eleanor looked like she had a lot of fun swimming in the lake.

They're very content. The puppers are so happy to go swimming in the lake !!! Had big thunderstorms last night !! Oh Kira you and your fit when you have your harness on !!! The scenery looks very very beautiful !! Eleanor is so happy that she's camping and she loves it !!!

That lake is gorgeous! I bet the water was COLD! It's boiling hot here in northwest Georgia, and is supposed to be through next week. Upper 90s with a heat index in the triple digits!

it's in the high 90s here, threatening to go into the 100s and having dry heat with forest fires 🔥 There's even a wooded area with river water where the different breeds of birds shelter on their flights to their homing grounds. It's called the Bosque (bo-skay) & it's in town between Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, N.M. It's a very harsh & spooky Summer here but seeing the 3 Girls with their Mum & Dad enjoying camping life is sweet and fun. Thanks for the post 📫 😀

All my friends from all over the country are in Kalamazoo this week for a massive dog show, and watching the changing weather through them has been outrageous! It’s supposed to get into the high 90s!

Well, Pawfam, in MN It is currently 99 degrees with a heat index OVER 103 DEGREES!! So you may well get this weather in a couple of days. That is the bad news. The good news is that tomorrow it will rain and 75ish degrees. So the puppers and pupper parents should be ok.

Jess, is it hard with a double coated dog to search for ticks? I've only had short coat dogs which made it a quick search for me. Even if the pawdience answers that's ok.

Yeah it can be hard to see them, but at the same time, sometimes the ticks won't even attach to them because their fur is so thick. So we usually see them walking around before they bite the dogs.
