Remember that the real winner this year was hardstyle itself. There were so many amazing tracks and moments that you could extend this list to 50 and they'd still all be bangers. Everyone who makes music for this community should be proud. We see you all. Keep up the great work!

no matter who is in the Top 10. It's deserved! It's understandable to have a different taste of sound design and of course a lot of other artists, like Phuture Noize, deserved to be in it, but that's Hardstyle. We are one tribe, no matter, which style is on the top

I can understand, that some people are sad, because their producer didn't made it on top, but it's ok. There are many years following. Personally my favorite producer is MYST and I'm happy, he is in the list, no matter where :) happy new year btw

Honestly best comment in this section. I was thinking about that the entire time. There will always be underdogs for the enthusiasts, but perhaps cherishing them for what they are is what makes you an enthusiast, the willingness to dig deeper to find that extra spice.

The top is not bad, I think there are songs that came out very late and in any case did not give much time to vote en masse but I liked how it turned out in the end, remember that a top does not define which is the best because they are the fans of each artist those who vote in large numbers but okay. 👑❤

No offense to DBSTF, but I think 4 tracks in the top 10 is kinda too much. I know it's based on the votes of the public, but this year were so many better tracks than those, like A Beautiful Fantasy, Time Machine, etc. I respect the music they make and they are really good tracks, but 4 tracks out of the 10 makes me listen to a DBSTF set.

DBSTF got high quality tracks this year, i voted only tracks for them this year, so it´s all a matter of taste, i personaly don´t like the style of SZP, but that´s my opinion, other people love it, i don´t.

It's the same at festivals bro. Big djs only play their own and each others tracks. For example, have you ever heard Festuca - Pressure Waves? A 2015 track, fucking amazing imo, never ever played except for this one time Festuca himself was allowed to perform somewhere...I see/hear so many good tracks of unknown producers on KZfaq, but nobody spins these tracks.

Because of the lack of festivals, the hard hitting tracks get undermined by more mainstream tracks that can be played at home

This list went from a track popularity contest to an artist popularity contest. Never seen such a lack of diversity in the top 100 before. Hopefully it will be better again next year. Also small request for people to please vote for more different artists in their tops. I've seen so many votes with people just picking the full discography of their favourite artist instead of their actual favourite tracks. Edit: also mind you there are zero (0, none) tracks in the full top 100 from non-established artists this year. Usually there are at least a handful talent tracks that make it in, but this year not even. Kinda sad to see that the tons of talents that emerged this year don't get any recognition in the top yet.

Imo, Dragonborn Part 3 won because of the history behind that song, not the sound structure. If it was another Headhunterz song, Heady fans would make it a Top 5 track, but, only those who had someone important and never realized it after losing because of behaving like an idiot, can understand the passion and dedication Willem put in this one. Having that said, for 2021 I hope he doesn't overuse that story just to get votes, then that would be very low. On the other hand... man, *IF* there was someone with doubts that D-Block & S-te-Fan are the best hardstyle DJ's right now, doubts are gone, 4 tracks in the Top 10, 5 tracks in the top 20.

Of course its a popularity contest. Because thats the only things thats measurable in music. Everything is subjective. And if you dont like popular artists or songs, thats okay! Thats your opinion. But if there are more people that do like their music, then obviously they will get more votes. So listen to what you enjoy and let people listen to what they enjoy. This was a banger year for hardstyle, no matter which artist you like. One tribe 🧡

@@Ba_sit people are dumb😂 Q-DANCE top 100 every year is a disappointment, the last year I cared for the top 100 was 2016. From 2017 the top 10 is probably just too bad... like...the 1st position deserving tracks were placed on #3 or #4 only this year, Heady actually deserved No.1

Bro I’m from Canada in the province of Quebec to be more exact. nobody here know what hardstyle is like nobody lol. The most popular edm genre in my area is fkg dubstep. I want to go to defqon.1 2022 and I try to find some people haha. Hit me up if you want to talk about hardstyle or defqon.1

While I do enjoy the established staples that regularly impact the high reaches of the year-end chart like clockwork......................I still also live to see the day the likes of Horyzon, Udex, Voidax, Ecstatic and Devin Wild, to name a handful, are recognized on these year-end charts as well. I totally get that established names are always going to have a sizable advantage by default, and there's no love lost toward any who have worked hard and continue to work hard enriching this community with the love of music. Here's hoping moving forward we'll see more diversity between established and less-established and/or up-and-coming names.

I love headhunterz but definitely not the best track of 2020 (for instance, I think his paper thin remix should be higher then db3). My personal favourite is Primal Energy and would like to see Keltek's Kingdom Comes way higher up in the list.

Just the same as Destiny, he didn't deserve it. This year was for Strong by Adaro & rejecta, Above Heaven by B-Front & Adrenalize or Never Back Down by Rebelion. And if we talk about hhz probably hunter and prey that for me it's better than Dragonborn 3

@@Josh_17 I personally enjoy DBSTF's tracks and many established acts for that matter. The thing I'm saying is that I dislike it when acts perennially only make the Top Ten off of name recognition alone. Hardstyle is obviously FAR from the only genre that grapples with this, and it certainly isn't the fault of the producers themselves. It's just personal venting more than anything as someone who would like to see more artists recognized on these surveys.
