I won't endorse Harry Potter while JK still with us but Hailan is the epitome of a Slytherin. People are always like how can Slytherins and Hufflepuffs be similar this is why. The only reason she did not say yes to taking out that kid was because it would make Ruyi sad. Hufflepuffs care more about groups of people Slytherins find specific people and dedicate their existences to them. Everyone else can burn and will if they need to.
