My favourite story about the Queen is about the then crown prince of Saudi Arabia visiting Balmoral and agreeing to a tour of the estate. Coming from a country where it’s illegal for women to drive, he didn’t expect the Queen herself to get on the driver’s seat and use her wartime skills as an army driver to basically Vin Diesel her way through the Scottish countryside, all the while constantly talking to him. To say the prince was *shooketh* is an understatement.
