So, a lot of you have been following Kevin Talbot and his quest for off road speed. He’s thrown down the challenge and a challenge is no fun on your own. We are going to try and take our Arrma Kraton Krajave to the max. As Kevin has shown, this ain’t no easy task. Tyres are a nightmare. We have bench tested the car and changed a whole load already, binned the spectrum 8s esc for the Castle Monster Mamba X 8s, Binned the Spectrum motor for a chunky TP motor which of course meant binning the Arrma motor mount. We fitted The Scorched Roto-Lock and Scorched front titanium CVD driveshafts and gone through a front diff and 4 different sets of tyres….. well three anyways. Stay tuned as we have plans for our Arrma Infraction Scorched GT monster getting dizzy on the oval. Big love to everyone and again. I big love Kevin, love what you do and keep on inspiring :)

Nice calm day at the park. Old people walking little Benji. Birds chirping and then out of no where a monster appears. No it's a Kraton. Such a pleasure watching it on 8s. I hope the damage wasn't too bad. Awesome footage my friend. Enjoyed every minute of it. 💯%

Those look like epic wheels, I thought about doing something similar with alloy rugby boot studs. Crashing sucks though and I’m quite angry with Louise Tyres! I reached out to them and they never even bothered to acknowledge my emails! Grrrrr

@@vortexrcuk Yeah bad customer service sucks. I would never buy from them again and let them know with a few choice words 😉 lol The Cleet-us wheels really surprised me. Once he adds the plates to hold the cleats on it's going to work great imo. Looking forward to seeing more speed runs etc. ✌🏻

Haha, choice words for sure! Tempted to drop a bomb video saying exactly what I think but really…we are no one and so they won’t ever listen! What annoys me is the tyre was good!!! It was only the poor adhesive application or adhesive that let the tyre fail! I’m certain they would do over 100 if glued properly….anyways, thanks for watching and we can’t wait to see how you do too :) keep up the rad work and quest for speed :D

You need to ditch all that weight and go back to plastic and carbon if you wanna get serious speeds All it’s gonna do is add load up the amp draw and sag on the batteries and slow you down

TBF, I have so much power in this car, going plastic is only going to result in more broken parts. I do see what you are saying though and I have been thinking along the lines of exchanging some parts for Carbon and a titanium chassis.

@@vortexrcuk you will be surprised you can take a stock v5 Kraton and as long as the diffs are shimmed you can run 8 s combo no probs there was a guy running 12s on a 6s exb a while back and he still had most the factory plastic

I know :( the new Insta 360 has 3 mics and picks it all up! Going to buy a wind gag mike and adaptor, if I turn on wind noise mode it blocks your voice grrrrr, sorry :/

Great camera but man…..anyways, ordered the adaptor for the mike and getting the mike for the next windy day. Trouble with filming stuff like this is you get one shot :/

@@vortexrcuk Definitely a great camera! Do you know what broke the fit diff yet? And what 4s batteries you're using? I need to look for those tires now seeing them on a possible 17mm hex, or did you do a 24mm swap?

The drive shaft dog bone pin moved, spat the drive shaft end out destroying the drive cup, RPM wishbone, sway bar coupling etc :/ Scorched replaced the shaft immediately along with the drive cup (Thank you Scorched). I have 24mm hubs fitted :).. batteries are test batteries from Onyx. Onyx bashing packs x2 taped together :) I also ran the Onyx P2 6s racing pack in the car. All packs from Onyx are mental power houses :)
