Amen to that my friend!! And I'm 43 myself!😂 And as cliché as it's gonna sound, I'm gonna say it anyway by saying, "They just don't make shows like this anymore and it obviously shows!!". It's downright criminal what they've done to so many different shows & movies with all the God awful & soulless remakes that've been nothing more than shameless cashgrabs but, I guess what can you expect from hollyweird!!🤦😮💨 But I digress. I sincerely hope & pray to God that they NEVER try to "remake" this beloved piece of 80s nostalgia the way that recently, so many others have unfortunately been treated to and utterly destroyed in the process and all in the name of this God awful modern-day woke, racially motivated, and woefully politically biased idealism!! It's truly shameful what has been happening to all our beloved movies, stories, and TV shows in the last decade or so now and I hope and pray that maybe it's finally coming to an end!!🙏🙏🙏

@@thedude41780 All true!!!! When I heard that some of my favorite TV shows were going to be remade in movie form or TV Shows I almost had a stroke!!!!. The Man From Uncle, Wild, Wild West, Kolchak, X-Files, The Saint etc. Couldn't wait. TMFU wasn't too bad if you just realized that it had nothing to do with the series, not even the music score. WWW was close to be the worst movie I've ever seen. The X-Files became left leaning trash. Kolchak became a psychological mystery series (boring). The Saint changed the character completely just like they did in TMFU. If they remade Airwolf today they'd be battling the police to protect BLM and Antifa along with any other terrorist group out there.
@thedude417808 ай бұрын
@@tomskell9622yep, sadly you're probably 100% right!! Thank God for a sort of an alternative to the leftist Hollywood garbage beginning to emerge and maybe that's a sign that things are beginning to change and revert to more sensibility once again...HOPEFULLY!!🤞😖😂 It's been the same way with superheroes lately too, they've taken and practically ruined damn near all of them, with the exception of a few but, the overall majority have been totally bastardized and transformed fundamentally from what they originally started out as!! It's sad, infuriating, and so shameful that people would do this to things people love simply for money or to make a frivilous name for themselves for the sake of their own 15 secs of fame!!🤦😓😮💨 But I could not agree with you more and I desperately miss the old days when life was simpler, much more affordable, legitimately enjoyable, and when people actually interacted with each other on a regular basis, instead of being buried in screens 24/7 & 365 days a year!! I don't think there's anything wrong with wishing to go back to something like that because what we have today leaves us all with little anonymity, any thought of true privacy, personal property, and most importantly, COMMON SENSE to be desired and it's obvious that basically everyone is clearly much less happy or content with their lives than they were back then because today we no longer have ANY time to slow down and enjoy the "little" things in life that bring us all the joy we need to truly be content, healthy, happy, and productive and that's why our society/westernized society is on a rapid decline & circling the drain(if you ask me!)!!! Nice talking with you!! God bless you brother!!

Nice tribute. I watched this avidly back in the 80’s. Yeah it had lots of recycled shots, but goddamn what an awesome show. Most episodes hold up today, particularly the pilot. Real shame though, All the stars of this show are gone now. Jan-Michael Vincent, Ernest Borgnine and of course our lady Airwolf.

Can’t blame them. Imagine the cost of both fuel and maintenance for the 222, even with the budget they had.
@nordicusmaximus3 жыл бұрын
@@TheDogofTin That's why in later seasons you can see the obvious switch for the RC helicopter in a lot of the exterior action flight scenes. Sad, but obvious cut in production money.

This is amazing, amazing, amazing. The only thing missing, and I feel horrible even mentioning it (because this is so incredibly well done) is a sound bite or two of the blood-curdling noises the chopper made on the show. Both that eerie whistling sound she made at low speed, and that shrieking sound on acceleration always sent the chills up my spine.

2 things I remember best about this phenomenal series when I was a kid. 1.: The Music... when the Music kicks in the adrenalin rush is abnormal just pure beast 2.: The "SCREACHING" of Airwolf when engaging in combat and doing these insane turns, that sound was haunting and dangerous and beautiful at the same time. Best Series ever!
