"Is it a good looking car? No" You are incorrect there. Absolutely, yes it is. Far better than the "transformer robot" style designs of today's cars--all the same chiseled bodies with some kind of pinched slivers for lights front and back. The Figaro has real style and hearkens back to classic designs of the 50's. The interior cream white looks bright and clean (especially those nice leather seats) with the chrome switches. Cup holders were an optional item that sat in front of the ashtray area.

I don't know the extent of the research done for this video but man a lot of stuff was incorrect.

I'm sitting here in a Nissan dealership just a few feet away from one of these in the showroom. (I don't think it's for sale.) It's a gorgeous bluish gray color and what a spiffy cool thing it is! I wish the video had shown the workings of the retractable top (besides that scant bit at the beginning). Also, I'm curious if they made any with the steering on the left. I hope the guy in the video gets some help, because anyone who thinks the color or the car itself is ugly needs help. :-)

A figaro should NOT sound like that. I’ve got 2 and neither sound like that or do others. This video has a fair bit of false info, such as production time etc and the man in the video doesn’t seem to like the car? They cope extremely well on motorways (70mph and above) :-)

It was only made for one year, 1991. Other years are not correct. It's a 987cc, not 1000cc. If it has a lot of body roll, the shocks and bushings need to be replaced. Not good looking? Drive one for a week. People LOVE it. Cup holders were an upgrade. I will not be following your channel. Try learning more about a car before judging it.

there was a whole Neo-classic car thing the manufacturers were doing in the late 80's early 90's. Ever seen a Nissan Pao? The engine on that one sounds.....tappety (don't even know if it has tappets lol). Also surprised how surprised you were about the HVAC controls....that's a layout that most cars I've owned have (usually Toyotas)

a kindergartner could see that the Figaro in this video has grossly worn out shocks. And a "expert" driver who isn't sensitive enough to recognize that affect on handling is, well, maybe not an expert after all? That's what you get when you buy one of these sight-unseen from one of those off-the-docks Japanese exporters. You must remember this is a 27 year old car, so some significant maintenance is in order to return it to its former glory. Any legitimate stateside (or UK) importer would replace the shocks, sway bar bushings, and even complete front A suspension arms (all readily available and dirt cheap). Try driving ANY 27 year old American built car with original shocks and you'd get the same results. We own a fully restored Figaro, and it handles delightfully.. solid suspension and negligible body roll in corners. Oh, and a simple Google search will tell you the Figaro was built and titled ONLY in 1991 for 11 months. The fanciest quad copter video won't make up for inaccurate information or dissing a clapped out example. Just sayin'

Figahrow no! And yes this is a good looking car. It is a classic shape like the austin, fiat, mg and many more classic sports cars not super cars or pony cars. These are pure fun and todays equivalent would be the fiat and Mazda miata. Once you drive one you will miss it.

the car i like... the video? seemed like a struggle for length for monetization with a bunch of unnecessary clips for no reason... all this tells you about the car are things you can see for yourself or most likely find on the Wikipedia, its not like im hearing the story about why this one is specifically special to history or the owner or how Nissan came up with the idea for reasoning to make this car etc, or an other interesting details of why this would be the best video telling anyone about this car... no hate or anything, just my perspective

The reviewer is tone deaf to the design and cleverness of the car. Real leather, retro not cheaply done. simplicity and above all modern , easy to find components. Its a 30 year old car with Modern engine brakes and manners with old roadster looks.
