My main criticism of the liberal/moderate/secular/moderate/ wasathiyah/pluralist/ revisionist/progressive approach as well as the conservative/traditionalist/salaf approach and other approaches currently circulating is that all of these approaches only place the Qur'an alone as kalamullah/ayatullah. as if the product of kalamullah is only al quran, as if only the heavenly books. whereas there are many products of the nature of al kalam, including ayat tarikhiyyah (human history), ayat kauniyah (universe), and ayat insaniyah (human self). al quran itself recognizes the existence of these 3 types of ayatullah (besides itself, besides al quran itself). The end result of studying/interpreting/interpreting all the other products of Allah's word that have the status of ayatollahs (signs of Allah's power/guidance) have the same status as "dalil shara" as does the end result of studying the product of Allah's word called al quran. Furthermore, because all of them have the status of "dalil shara", all of the above ayatollahs also have the status of sources of Islamic law (mashadir ahkam). So the "dalil of shara" derived from the research of non-religious scientists (such as the laws of physics, the laws of biology, the laws of psychology, mathematical formulas, statistics, etc.) have the same status as "dalil shara", derived from the study of the kalamullah / ayatullah called al quran, because the "dalil shara" are also derived from the same products, namely the products of the implementation of the same attribute of God: kalamullah. Furthermore: thus the "dalil shara" can all naskh the laws of other ayatollahs because they are all products that have the same legal position / level (both ayatollahs). the origin of lex posteriori derogate lex anteriori also applies in the discussion of legal relations between "dalil shara" drawn from the 4 types of ayatollahs. wallahualam.

It’s non-intuitive to understand that all this complexity is just natural and no intervention of any being is required, it’s much much simpler and easier for humans to believe that some being did it magically, especially when we are indoctrinated to believe from a very early age by our parents, teachers, leaders, elders practically everyone. And if we don’t conform to our parents religions then we can be shunned, disowned and possibly harmed. originally from Karachi Pakistan and Teer Haripur Hazaara, now ex-Muslim Atheist .

Whatever we believe we believe it with proof and rational grounding, by using "indoctrination" you are simply implying that muslims believe blindly, however that is not the case since Allah says in the Qur'an that if you believe in assumptions without proofs then you are of the ignorant, so again, YOU have been brainwashed, you probably don't even know or ever cared to read the Qur'an.

@DC-wp6oj 10 ай бұрын
You answered absolutely nothing except that you were indoctrinated at a young age and now as a grown up you believe its man made. How do you explain how an illiterate person in the middle of nowhere came up with the Quran. A book which has created a whole new vocabulary is grammatically correct and and covers a very wide range of topics and subjects. Who wrote it if not Muhammad/God? Was it a group of people? If so who? His enemies surely would have ‘outed’ the Prophet as a fraud as they would have pinpointed where he was receiving his ‘revelations’ from. We have universities full of Professors in comparative religion yet none would be able to produce such a text. It’s inconceivable that a desert town (Mecca) of ?8000 people far far away from any notable centre of education or learning could produce a book let alone a religion of any standing. While I respect atheists view and skepticism I have yet to come across any reasonable explanation as to how the Quran was derived and why Muhammad would risk life and limb to promote his message for no material gain. Some say he took stories from the bible, infancy gospels, greek writings etc etc but theres zero evidence he had any real access to detailed information. Dismissing the Quran without an explanation other than ‘indoctrination’ is seriously lacking.

There's no scientific proof for the multiverse, but there are people, even scientists, who believe in it our epistemology (our certainty of knowing things) isn't limited to empirical things like sight, sound, taste, touch, smell, etc. ( though there are sometimes when strange happenings take place, I recommend Encountering Mystery by Princeton professor Dale Allison)

When people talk about reconciling science and religion, that is only an issue with people who have preconceived ideas, but scientists cannot/should-not have preconceived ideas they must believe the evidence. All scientific models must conform to NATURE or REALITY, If there is any tiny evidence for some unnatural forces then they must include that in their paper and account for it. originally from Karachi Pakistan and Teer Haripur Hazaara, now ex-Muslim Atheist . please Muslims/everyone-else educate yourself in the sciences especially Cosmology Evolutionary Biology, Geology and earth and human history and religious studies, this will help you understand that your upbringing was an indoctrination and all religions are myths, originally from Karachi Pakistan and Teer Haripur Hazaara, now ex-Muslim Atheist ,

Any study or discussion on the Quran should first seek what the Quran is trying to teach. The teachers of Quran says that it is giving something better than the Bible. The Bible gives the story how GOD made it possible for HIS lost children to be reconciled to HIM as a Free Gift through the death and resurrection of HIS Son JESUS. What does the Quran do? It puts the onus on each person to work out his salvation through his own effort. So how does the Feee Gift of salvation based on GOD'S work compare to each person working out his own salvation? Do you think the work of man met the absolute righteousness (100% not 99.999%) required by GOD. To the Muslims who do not believe in the saving work of the Lord Jesus Christ, the question is why? People are killed, punished etc based on what Allah says in the Quran. Why do you believe and follow it while the teaching of the GOD in the Bible is not? To those who say that the Bible is corrupted most of the Old Testament is available in the Dead Sea Scrolls. And there are thousands of New Testament manuscript that a very old and which can be referred by serious academics.

I don't agree with hating the biggest victims of Islam the Muslims, and Islamic dogma is not any worse then the Christian dogma big difference is that Christians reformed their original dogma and no longer closely follow their original scriptures. both religions selectively only preach scriptures which is accepted by modern standards and no longer preach the crazy and horrific scriptures and versus.

NOT TRUE. The quran has been bastardized 1000's of times over. There are different recitations of different qurans around the world. This is important to know. allah is suppose to preserve the quran, whatever form it takes, written or oral. he's suppose to preserve it 100%. not a single change in symbol, character, letter, word, meanings of words. There are millions of people that have recited it incorrectly, there are people that forget sentences or words when reciting, there are people that add words. allah is NOT able to stop this and allah is NOT able to preserve the quran 100% There are over 30 different versions of the quran and the warsh quran and the duri quran even have different words for the same surah. The manuscripts are bastardized also. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/f7ORaNeiy8qyqqs.html
