Man is an intelligent animal, but not intelligent enough to understand his surroundings, so he invented 'god' to explain it all. Just like those early natives who thought thunder was the voice of 'god', we have fallen into the same trap and made a guess. A foolish, primitive minded guess, from an intelligence that has progressed little from our ancestors the apes. We may not know the origins of the universe yet, but to to think it was somehow created by a 'god' is puerile beyond belief, and shows that humanity has a very low intelligence indeed.

"If you're not defining who you are, anybody else can define you ". This is spot on. Humans are not free in this capitallist world, they start programing you from the moment you start learning to speak, from cartoons to school to career. @@GAMLAPATTE I don't know much about these concepts but I read somewhere that corporatism is a natural conclusion to capitalism. These concepts don't matter much to me cuz in the end they serve the same purpose and they are never in the favor of average citizens. The best solution is being self seficient and the only way we can do it is the natural way. God made a perfect system and we messed with it. Off grid living in a community in harmony with nature is the solution to all the problems created by modern life.

I hear the same story every time, people grow up getting bullied because they refused to fit in with the crowd. That's exactly my life story, I was also able to see through the BS of going to college and getting a degree and job to satisfy my parents. It's like we live in a zombie society of people that want you to be a programmed zombie like everybody else and they put you down if you don't or refuse to. In my teen years, I finally gave in and tried to fit in by listening to secular music and indulging in what ever was considered cool by society despite me naturally thinking that stuff was embarrassing as a kid and God punished me by making me go through depression and anxiety in my teen years. Then I finally found God again in my early adult years and at 26 I have so much knowledge that I believe would benefit people but most wouldn't listen.

If you feared Allah properly, you would attain knowledge without ignorance. However, no one has reached this level." It was asked, "O Messenger of Allah, not even you?" He replied, "Even I; isn't Allah (Exalted and Mighty) greater than any person can comprehend? (His essence and the reality of His actions are beyond understanding)." Narrator: Hz. I am a revert too, and I love Islam. But, I would like to be very frank for the love Allah and Islam, that if any of Islam's virtuous principles need wider acceptance and appreciation from across all cultures, it's important to promote the concept that "the purest sunnah without a shadow of doubt is to FOLLOW THE QURAN ALONE." Because that's exactly what the Prophet adhered to and nothing else. The truth of the matter is, there is not one monolithic Islam today in the internet age. There is Islam with a capital I based purely on the Quran, the only preserved and protected revelation from God, and then, there are many different shadows of Islam (sects) based on teachings other than the verbatim word of God, the Quran. But each of these shadows consider themselves as the sole inheritor of the truth which the Prophet received. All of them appropriate for themselves all the greatness which only ISLAM with a capital I deserves. As far as shadow Islam goes, there is no greater deception, than the concept of Sunnah which they subscribe to without realizing what it does to true Quranic Islam. It is this concept that has successfully managed to eclipse the original ISLAM with a capital I, which you will be able to see only through the plain text of the QURAN. The purest form of Sunnah, is to fulfill all the obligations of the Quran including the clear command of not taking any other source of guidance or authority other than the Quran alone. Yet, if one really needs to, one may take the help of the Hadiths ONLY and merely to fulfill the obligations of the Quran but beyond that every problem faced by Muslims is because of following other than the Quran as a primary source of divine guidance. Or at least be open to questioning all the clear contradictions between Quran and Hadiths on more than 20 matters of great signicance. Especially, the character assignation of the noble Prophet (swa) by the so called authentice Hadith books written more than 200 years after the death of the Prophet (swa), which the Prophet himself never verified or attested to. Just like Talmud made the Torah irrelevant, the Hadiths have made the Quran almost irrelevant. The biggest problem with Islam today is a hadeeth centric Muslim. The definition of a hadeeth-centric Muslim - when it comes to all controversial issues which make Islam seem barbaric and even immoral (e.g death for Apostacy, death for Adultery, death for Blasphemy, shameful attacks on the Prophet's character, doubts about preservation of the Quran, death/I'll treatment of Homosexuals, ill-treatment of women, ill-treatment of jews, ill-treatment of christians, ill-treatment of other non muslims the list goes on), although there is clear a contradiction between the Quran and the hadeeth in each of these controversial matters which make Islam look deeply problematic, a hadeeth centric muslim goes only with hadeeth based interpretation, instead of clear Quran-centric guidance is called a unthinking official 'hadeeth-centric Muslim' for whom the honor of a book like Bukhari and Muslim is far more important, than the honor of his Prophet, or the honor of Islam or even the honor of Allah himself. Also, such a Muslim is also someone who is obsessed with his Scholars their "SCHOLARLY opinions, fatwas, and khauls' even when they clearly go against the ayaat of Allah himself. If you are a Muslim reading this, please choose if you wanna be hadeeth-centric Muslim or a Quran-centric Muslim. Being Quran-centric does not mean you dump all hadeeths but dump only those which contradict the Quran, demonizes the character of the Prophet (Pbuh) or goes against the spirit of Islaam, and goes against the universal laws of justice and Fitrah. Fear Allah, not your scholars or those who are obsessed with those professional scholars for dollars.

It's amazing watching you evolving in the right direction using your past knowledge about the wrong direction... One of the prophet ( pbuh) companions was always asking him about evil while every one else asking about how to do good... Later after the prophet (pbuh) past away... When fitnah started every one turned to him because they only know the good but he was helping people to understand how the evil thinks and works to avoid it.

I identify so much to this: "every single time you have a conversation it just feels extremely meaningless, there is no energy behind anybody's eyes anymore." "either I am absolutely insane, or society is just out of their minds" It's quite impossible to speak to people who has any experience, everyone looks like everyone else. "Hey, I'm Mr. Meeseeks look at me". Life changed though, it did not used to be this way, growing up, it felt a lot better. It's curious you picked that line of the Quran to explain this phenomena, it would be interesting to deep dive into why it meant what it meant to you.

I disambiguated your notes a little bit, one of your main points is that society is suffering from a lack of individuality, and what this causes is a lack of confidence in individuals. Further, this leads to people becoming heavily or unnecessarily medicated. Yes, this is a problem, for which you suggest developing individuality and uniqueness will combat. However, individuality is a very western construct. Individuality is not inherently bad, but when compounded with things like capitalism and what it has done to the common man, this can be very disadvantageous and result in isolation. Are there any thoughts on this?

Given your background and then entering into the light of God has given you a deeper understanding of existence that even many Muslims fail to grasp. I'd sure like to have a discussion with you some day. Keep learning brother

Amazing...I can add that Allah has a unique place in the world for all humans...we have a nagging feeling inside us that we follow to fulfill that fitrah that Allah wanted us to follow, because anything done is either for yourself or for Allah, no for the world

I came to Islam almost 14 years ago now, I was previously an atheist with an interest in the occult, and reading the Qur'an convinced me that I was wrong, my position was wrong, and that God DOES exist, this reality and everything within it has a Creator. I just want to say to you Brother that your videos are great, and also want to say don't fall into the trap of the hadith texts. Other Muslims are going to tell you that you need hadith to follow Islam and that is NOT true. Allah tells us that the Qur'an is fully detailed in 6:114, that it is an explanation of all things in 12:111, 16:89 and 17:12, and also tells us that the Qur'an is sufficient in 29:51 So The Qur'an is enough, it contains all the details we need, and it explains everything that we need it to. In 25:30 The Qur'an says that Muhammad will say on Judgement day "My Lord, My People have abandoned the Qur'an" (Notice here he's not concerned with the idea that they may have abandoned his words or any of his sayings, and is only concerned with the fact they've abandoned the Qur'an) And finally, Allah asks us the following rhetorical question in 45:6... "These are the verses of Allah, we recite them to you in truth, then in which HADITH after Allah and his verses, will they believe?" - The Qur'an 45:6 Peace and God's blessings be with you Brother. Just wanted to give you the heads up because I guarantee your channel is goin to get flooded with Muslims, some of whom will be telling you that you should follow hadith. Note: The hadith also contradict the Qur'an.

... Salaam, akhi u sound like a Quranist. Listen brother, I say this with utmost respect because you are young to this. The Quran itself references copying the prophet SAW to achieve being a good muslim. You need to understand the method of prayer (Salah), fasting etc is not detailed in the Qur'an. One has to use the hadiths to get that data. In fact what is required in practising the religion of islam on a day to day basis, is near impossible to perform without the hadiths. I am aware of the issues re: "weak hadiths"... but that is why they are graded "weak" obviously. Rejecting the ENTIRETY of hadiths means u will not even be able to do your mandatory 5 daily prayers correctly as the prophet performed it... which is punishable by hell. Encouraging others to reject hadiths is tantamount to misleading others (if you are wrong) which is punishable by hell too. You lack knowledge & wisdom in this topic... you will deeply regret mis-advising others on this later in life. My advice is keep it to yourself until u gain that wisdom (which you will if u ask for it from Allah AWJ). Take care brother . May Allah AWJ guide you.

@@Total_Entropy36 You claim: ". You need to understand the method of prayer (Salah), fasting etc is not detailed in the Qur'an. One has to use the hadiths to get that data." But The Qur'an says it's fully detailed (6:114), an explanation of all things (12:111, 16:89 and 17:12) and that it's sufficient (29:51) So, who's right brother, you... who claims that the Qur'an is missing details, or Allah who tells us the Qur'an is fully detailed? You, who claims that the Qur'an doesn't explain how to perform the rituals that you believe we should follow (praying a set number of times per day for example) or Allah who says that the Qur'an is an explanation of all things? You, who claims that we need the hadith because the qur'an is missing data, or Allah who tells us the Qur'an is sufficient? Also if you follow hadith why do you ignore this one which is considered Sahih? "Do not take down anything from me, and he who took down anything from me except the Qur'an, he should efface that and narrate from me, for there is no harm in it and he who attributed any falsehood to me-and Hammam said: I think he also said:" deliberately" -he should in fact find his abode in the Hell-Fire." - Sahih Muslim 3004 Narrated by Abu Sa'id Khudri reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said that. Peace be with you Brother, I look forward to your response.

Tip to New Muslims or converted one's : to understand Quran always read it with Tafseer not just reading translation that oh it mean this and that by feeding the translation straight to your mind. Quran is very deep on verse have multiple references to events , problems etc. so its better to read with Tafseer when you in research mode , otherwise just read arabic in normal day to day mode.

And among men there is one who worships Allah (standing) on the verge: so if some good thing happens to him, he is satisfied with it, and if a trial befalls him, he turns his face back. He loses both this world and the Hereafter. That is the manifest loss.

Thank you deconstructing this issues that effect specifically this generation, every human need a goal in life to persuade without it just you standing in same place no progress even if you worship God, our prophet pbuh The believer who mixes with people and is patient with their harm is greater in reward than the one who does not mix with them and is not patient with their harm. its must be set of goals and inspiration and challenging Allah then will help and bless you to overcome everything eventual and have no regret.

Hey Dravon, nice to meet you. I would love to hop on a casual call with you. My name is Muhammad Abdullah Malik. I am a Muslim, father of 2 daughters and devoted to learning & embracing knowledge and spirituality in my daily life. When you mentioned Surah Yusuf in a video... bro... it changed my life. Here you mentioned that you go out and you observe zombies and there's no one to talk to and have a meaningful discussion - can totally relate. I would love to have that sort of a conversation. Let me know if we can work out something. Stay blessed

I usually only have deep talk with my close friends but I also talk a lot by myself when in need to gain clarity, processing an interaction or situation Ive been in. But my mom (muslim family) tells me it's not a good thing to talk by myself cause jinns are listening but what wrong can it really do? I don't wish good or bad things, I mostly just analyse situations, kinda like you would do in front of a camera or with someone. It's like oral journaling basically and it helps me calm my anxiety. But I also fear it can have negative effects on my mental health or energy
