Idk how anyone hasn't at least heard of jack white. So many awesome bands, colaberations, and an awesome solo career. I mean he is kinda THE MAN

Not their most famous songs but my favorite Rack-on-toors song is Carolina Drama or Blue Veins.

Have you seen Blue Veins live in Holland? Highly recommend it. In my mind, that's the definitive version.

I love this group & Jack White sooo much! And the 2nd song, the piano reminds me of Merry Christmas baby , Otis Redding version... great band 🖤😎🤘

The blues feel of the first song was great but "I'm Your Puppet" took me back to high school (1966-67). Driving around with friends on Friday and Saturday nights, car radio tuned to KOMA (Oklahoma City) listening to rock and roll. This version reminded me so much of James & Bobby Purify's rendition (as has been noted by other commentors). FYI: KOMA cranked their transmitter up to 50,000 watts at sundown and played rock until dawn. Kids from Minnesota to Texas and, I don't know how far east and west, could listen to the latest tunes.

I enjoyed this, both songs were cool with a bluesy feel. Can see myself chilling to these songs or having them playing in the background at a barbecue. Great picks💕

Most of us older folks know I’m your Puppet by James and Bobby Purifoy from 1967- it makes me think summer days at the beach with a little bitty transistor radio. This cover is very good but the’67 is what you want for the playlist. The Raconteurs- the lead on I’m is Jack White from White Stripes. Check “Steady As She Goes”.

Butter me a biscuit and call me confused! I’m older- the only other song by the Ra-con-TOURS is “Old Enough” w Ricky Skaggs & Ashley Monroe Fantastic song so I thought the were a New Country/Bluegrass group & Jack Black was just sittin in too.

I love the original song Now that You're Gone by Raconteurs! I play it on repeat. The vibe is sexy and the guitar break riffs at the end are absolutely WICKED. As I explore Jack White's projects I am always surprised - he's an interesting artist who goes musically allover the map. I don't think you really caught the vibe. Go to the original official video. To me the bluesy BEAT speaks to ladies. Play it for a couple of "ladies" and ask their take. I think the lyrics are total reverse projection about singer's feelings. The lead singer on this is Brendan Benson. Jack White sings lead on I'm Your Puppet an old 60s song cover. Both well done. Also try Steady as She Goes.

The Raconteurs feel like an okay band that has the one member whose talent clearly far exceedes the other members and so he eventually breaks away from the group to become highly successful. Except that Jack White did all that backwards.

The 1st Song I never heard it, but the 2nd song I'm ur puppet I heard it in a gang bang movie, probably American Me cuz they had a character name Puppet.

Damn, been hoping and wanting someone , anyone to react to anything jw related aside for seven nation armey.. Bb is awesome too. But would've started you're with the video version of the first song. Probably a different song /performance completely.
