Southern African has been blessed with excellent rains in the 2021 rainy season and even the Namib Desert is having its share of glorious rain

Anyone read "#1 Ladies' Detective Agency"? Blue Shoes and Happiness scene will be with me till I die. The part where Mma Makutsi's walking, and the annual rains come ~after all the dry~ and she runs into a building. A man comes in shortly after her. Both hiding from the rain. Such a powerful scene of the joy of the first season's rain.

Perhaps that's all the water channel can supply at a time, the source might be small, but at least it's steady water for the animals. Big or small makes no difference, the fact that it is there at all is heaven-sent.

There’s a small reservoir behind the waterhole that supplies the water through a pipe. NamibiaCam videos will show what it’s like now one year on.

I do not know, when this video was recorded, but it was for sure not in 2021. This waterhole was rebuilt, it has now a concrete dome in the middle, were the water comes in. Check out the livestream on namibia cam.

Namibia doesn't look like desert to me as there is no sand and it's dunes as desert is defined , but so thankful to god he finally got a plan as humans are cutting down forests all across the world ,to grow new where there are less or no humans ...
