I think you're badly misreading this. I had a FB post in 2019 warning people about this and I can almost promise anyone standing on his side right now is going to regret it more with each passing year. Kendricks entire brand is truth. And just like allegations of Drake hiding a child, a baby mama were true (as we see Adonis) these other things are likely true as well. The parties? You know how many 16 year olds have been to those? Ask around.

@@pensarebasketball Since when is it mandatory for famous people to have to reveal their kids to the public and even at that was it really being hidden or delayed if Adonis allegedly had an Adidas roll out that Pusha stepped on. So, because somebody's "brand" is based off truth, it means they cant tell no lies. Yet, Top had threatened to take Kendrick's music down on Spotify if they took R. Kelly and XXX music off streaming, Dr. Dre got a 16 y/o pregnant and Kendrick brings him on stage, and Demar on stage sporting an Easy E t-shirt. So does his truth lay in hypocrisy. I know people that have attended his parties too but they haven't told me none of that, not saying it cant be true but people can always make accusations. Also, I don't personally agree with it but in playing devils advocate age of consent in Ontario is 16, so sadly in that aspect there's nothing illegal about a 16 year old being with some one older than 18. Some one that has seen friends and family go through the court system for weapons, drugs, and murder charges I'm a strong believer in innocent until proven guilty. Anyways it's Go Raptors Go till I die.

I was today years old when I found out age of consent in Canada is 16. Yikes. I guess this would matter more if all the allegations were limited to Canada. They're not tho.

@@pensarebasketball Agreed. The US on the other hand varies from state to state. For example when Drake was on stage with the 17 y/o in Colorado there’s no legal issue, as the age of consent there is 17. If it was in Cali it would be an issue since Cali’s is set at 18. Georgia however is 16, which is why Travis Scott hasn’t been in trouble for Rubi Rose.

I get what you're saying. That's why I said "if even 15% or 30% of this is true". Because it doesn't all have to be true for it to be true enough. That's the difference between court of opinion and court of law. Ironically, that's a bit how the court of law works too. Lay out 27 charges, each carrying minimum 5 yrs. The defense has to win 27/27 to win. The prosecutor only has to win 1.

Also, the entire point of Drake being an ambassador was about creating a better marketing tool for free agency and sales in general. The OVO jerseys, the OVO centre, etc giving the Raptors that connection. Well? How many NBA players are rocking with him right now? This is like trading for Josh Giddey right now. It doesn't matter if it's true or the investigation was cleared. From the perspective of optics and PR, you distance from him because the business no longer makes sense.

@@pensarebasketball At this point having Giddey on the roster wouldn’t be a good look for the team lol. Having one set of allegations on your team is bad enough but 2? It would be a PR nightmare. Drake was really in a lose lose situation and shouldn’t have engaged Kendrick even though I understand why he did. He was battling too many people at the same time. It is hard to win a war fighting on multiple fronts… with no allies. That was the situation he was in…and he inadvertently walked right into it.

I think there's truth to both sides, he was all over Raptors media during the championship year but you hardly ever see him when the team is mediocre. He helped put us on the map a little more in the NBA but don't think it wasn't self serving.
