I think cannabalism is not rare among lizards. Male Komodo dragons eat their own offsprings eggs. That's why mama Komodos have to protect eggs from male dragons.

No, they did not "evolve" to live in the trees. So-called "fish-to-fishermen evolution" is impossible and does not exist. The only evolutionary concept that has any validity is called "natural selection", and all natural selection can do is select from what already exists. Natural selection itself has no creative power - it cannot create new body plans, etc.

Even the Komodo Dragons are much older than the age of Pandas, Giraffes, Elephants, Tigers, Lions, Horses, Goats, Cows, Sheep, Ducks, Chickens, Rabbits, Dogs, Cats, Wolves, Jaguars, Panthers, Sharks, Snails, Rhinoes, Monkeys, Pigs, Camel, Fox, Ostrich, Hippo, Birds, Deers, Hyenas and etc. Komodo Dragons is : (FROM LILITH ERA / ORIGINS DEVIL AGE. KD millions-millions year ago). Lilith is much older than Adam & Eve. Lilith is Demon Reptile & KD is Reptile. (Komodo Dragons pets of Lilith).

Не понятно, что вызывает удивление у комментаторов. Дело в том, что подобное встречается очень часто в мире животных. Самки пауков и богомолов съедают самцов после спаривания, кобры питаются другими змеями (пусть и не своего вида, но, всё же - это тоже каннибализм), лягушки едят головастиков, многие животные убивают и (или) поедают детёнышей. Конкретно в данном случае, Комодский варан не только проявил акт каннибализма, но, и, съел падаль. Потому, что очевидно, что детёныш Комодчкого варана уже был ме́ртв ещё до того, как пришёл более старший сородич.

Yeah it's a horrible terrifying thought to imagine having a couple of those grab you and eat you alive which is what would happen. They'd rip bits off while you're screaming and having your insides, intestines and stuff pulled out while you're still conscious and can see whats going on. Thats a crazy way to die, I can't think of any other animal attacks that would be worse than that.

I've watched a lot of Komodo dragon videos. I decided to skip this one 40 seconds into it because there were letters in the middle of the screen blocking a lot of the view. I understand the concern over piracy, but ruining an otherwise good video because of fear is a little too much for me to bear. Better luck next time.
