Is the job of Rate Stretch Tool and Speed/Duration almost the same?

Yes. I just use the Rate Stretch tool to fill in gaps, and speed/duration when I need an exact speed or duration.

Hello!!! I'm looking for a shortcut that can extend clips to fill gaps without having to press "R" then clicking and dragging! So i can auto extend a clip to playhead and not have to click and drag all the time! Would that be possible?

Change duration is my problem. adobe have feature "extend selected edit to playhead" (shortcut E) but it don't have feature the same for duration.
