Scenes from The Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway on 21st June 2017.
First we see some of the movements at Ravenglass station before views from on board the steam train on a journey from Ravenglass to Dalegarth. Along the way we briefly see the other two steam locos in operation on this day.

One of the best that I have been on Jeff , been a couple of times and enjoyed every minute ..nice video and thanks for reminding me how great and scenic this railway is ...Dave

Lovely video of a lovely railway. There are lots of nice, short walks you can do from the Eskdale end, all in a little book by A.W.Wainwright ('Walks from Ratty' in the station shop).

A super video from this lovely railway Jeff. I loved the little diesel loco at the beginning of the video. Maybe not a candidate for design of the year but doing a great job! Cheers - Allan.

Looks like it's been raining at Dalegarth again then! Those little locos certainly have to work hard up there.

Wonderful, Jeff! The lovely "Ratty", well documented; Santa, taking his summer vacation; a fierce rebuttal against all those old jokes about blonde drivers; and the beautiful Cumbrian landscape - all in a single video. What more could you want. Have a jar, lad! :-)

It was a super day out with my bus driver mate Dave. I have been to Ravenglass a couple of times but this was my first visit up the line. All rounded off with a "couple" of Jars in The Ratty Arms on the main line station on return. Thanks for your comments, really good laugh. Cheers, Jeff.

Nice video I came here 22nd - 25th August, for birthday on the 22nd but came 23rd was right next to B&B was in so went everyday, video on my page was pulled by River Irt there and northern rock back!
