This actually seems legit to me. I've seen many girls who would love to have *a boyfriend who would crossdress* into the style that they're interested in. But what would happen if he really got into it, then it might become a bit competitive. XD *I actually know a guy who's into lolita and wants a lolita girlfriend,* but he claims that he doesn't want a girl that is prettier than him. He wants to feel like a princess around her. I guess he could go for an ouji / kodona girl in that case? Awesome script and awesome cast.

I can't wait for the next one. There should be at least 6 videos to make it a "season". Also every season has a show where the group travels to a city Mexico/san Diego and they get into fights on vacations. Also one of the couples should go to jail like the couple from New Jersey! I used to watch the shows. Lol loved this!!

Beginner's Question: Are Scarves allowed in lolita if they match the coordinate? Can themes outside of the well known substyles like techno, egyptian, pin up, or others be used in Lolita while still following the shape and modesty rules or does that make it to Costume-ish? If we choose to wear wigs, what are some great stores that specialize in higher quality realistic looking wigs that are a little more expensive bot not overpriced? Any other advice? I'm a new wanna be lolita who is working 2 jobs to save up for her first coordinate. Thanks for reading this if you've gotten this far!

Yes Usually no Gothic lolita wigs, Bodyline Bodyline is usually very cheap, and you don't need specific petticoats made for lolita, there are a lot on amazon.com and formal clothes websites. You can use accessories from outside of lolita IN lolita, and not everything you have needs to be brand, again with things like jewelry, hair accessories, socks and shoes, you can go offbrand. That's all my advise for you.

Latiastuff Actually, yes there are specific petticoats. A-line and bell/cupcake shape petticoats. If you use a square dancing one, the dress looks a bit ita, same with using a bell shape on an A-line dress. No. Don't do that.

My boyfriend is baffled by it all, but that's because he just likes plain, understated clothing, regardless of style or connotations lolita has. Though lately he has seen one or two coordinates he could say were cute, and some casual ones of mine that he thought weren't too ridiculous. I just know he is less keen on prints, particularly border prints. I can understand that as it's a dyeing technique that seems more modern and mass-produced/cheap to him. He's very quiet and a computer geek. Even if he thinks my clothes are weird we have fun playing games and quiet nights in.

Start with Bodyline, pretty cheap with good quality as well. First of all, you need some stuff 1. A petticoat 2. Blouse 3. Socks or tights 4. One piece (OP) or Jumper Skirt (JSK) 5. Shoes 6. Parasol 7. Lace fan (this is optional) 8. Head Bow, Headdress, or Bonnet Those are the basic things you need to make a good coordinate Good luck!

Ok so 2 things... I am a beginning lolita (I'm hoping to buy my first coord by August) yet I am also Muslim and I do wear the hijab....how do I do this other than long sleeve blouses... like for my legs and trying to find scarves that would tie well with it... please help !

Kira Holemon You could wear opaque tights for your legs. You might need to use some thick ones depending on the width of your legs but they will cover your skin. I'm not sure what to suggest when it comes to your hijab and since I don't know much about Muslim I don't want to suggest something that might not be helpful. Maybe just try to use scarves that match the most prominent color of your coord?

Kira Holemon Hi there. There are existing lolitas who wear hijab. Try looking them up for inspiration. I particularly like thehijabilolita.tumblr.com/ Coordinating your hijab is the same as coordinating any lolita outfit. Think about colour, style, length. Pick out matching colours and fabrics etc to the dress you are wearing. And as for legs, I would suggest knee high boots and opaque tights, OTK socks. If in doubt you can wear a long frilly underskirt which is popular at the moment, or buy the long versions of JSK. Good luck! ^^
