There is no 'local tradition' which states the top of the mountain is 'burnt', that is a claim made by a group of western pastors who first made that allegation. Just about every mountain in that whole mountain range has a dark colored topography. There is nothing to suggest this was the real mount sinai.

It is the real location of Mount Sinai Physical evidence there matching up with what the Bible states proves it, even though some people will not and do not accept the truth or accept what the actual physical evidence proves And yet The "official" location that is still in Egypt (St Catherine's monastery in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula ) has zero physical evidence and yet people readily accept it as being the true Mount Sinai, when it is not (it being in Egypt should be a major giveaway it is not the true location, alongside no physical evidence) Exodus 20:1-2 "And God spake all these words, saying, 2 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage." God would not have said "which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt" IF they was still in Egypt at the time God gave Moses the Ten Commandments

A real location doesn't prove the story. No one has demonstrated the existence of a god character. Do that first. Then you ask it to confirm the stories. It's time for this religion to be declared mythology. Just like all the other religions of the past.
