There's a ton of rules and regs surrounding replacing the game ball in the middle of a game. It's much easier to just spend a few minutes getting it "unstuck". You also don't want the stuck ball suddenly falling back onto the floor in the middle of a play.

Yes - I felt lifted by a cool gesture that nobody could've predicted. To me, it was fun to watch this tiny girl do something that a group of tall guys couldn't.
