China simply has an ownership of the company... But they are still Canadian and Austrian built. I love flying Diamonds, and their DA62 is the safest GA plane in the world

@@Aleksandar6ix No, since 2017, Diamond has been 100% owned by Wanfeng Aviation of China, with close ties to the CCP military. 2/3 of its business is military and government contracts, mostly drones. You can't see what's going on there? Congrats for supporting Chinese espionage, and enjoy your Chinese plane.

@ckryegrass11 I know Diamond has one of the most impeccable safety records. And yes I know hoe they were designed. designed to be safer than any other GA aircraft by reducing the 5 largest factors I accidents.
