Theyre not napoleonic uniforms, they are modern uniforms. They arent reenactors, they are real soldiers wearing the same army uniforms their forefathers wore.

Bears are no different in that an area of ground can only support X amount of bears, this is an unfortunate result of progress and civilization but most of us are intelligent enough to understand that humans and animals are not on the same level no matter how cool they are.

I think it’s disgusting that someone has extremely poor grammar and spelling. But I don’t get all angry about it. I also find it disturbing that someone can rant about a subject they know nothing about. The fur is a byproduct of an annual cull of black bears by the Canadian government. The bears are culled because they have no natural predators and tend to over run areas close to towns and cities. Go and shout at the Canadians if you are that worried.

The bear skins are bought from the Canadian government. The skins are a by-product of a cull that the Canadians carry out. Only a handful of skins are bought each year.

All 5 of the Guards Regiments wear them - Grenadier, Coldstream, Scots, Irish, Welsh!
