Domino's Pizza is trash. I'd rather make my own from scratch. It's not that hard but it is waaaaaay more delicious and cost effective. Plus I know what's in my pizza. I'm not paying for boogers and ass flakes from angry, underpaid, unappreciated employees in my food. I'll pass! Do better domino's.😐

@@sanchagaspard Seems like you would be doing that if you were an employee, which you would be fired. That is sick and disgusting. Making your dough from scratch takes time along with the proofing that must happen. Say what you will, but if your Domino's Pizza is full of crap, it's best to talk to the health department and prove it, or seriously be quiet.

@@P11247 I said what I said and I meant it. And no, I would never do anything to anyone's food. I take pride in the fact that I cook for my family and I rarely do take out. I don't like the taste of Domino's pizza, neither does anyone in my family. If you love Domino's that's fine too. We're all entitled to our opinions. The last time I saw a Domino's employee use the bath room and not wash her hands before going back to work was the last time I ate fast food. Not saying that every one is like that, but I've never gotten over the way I felt after seeing that. I'd already eaten!!! And she didn't wash her hands after using the toilet!!! I'd rather be safe than sorry. And for your information, I didn't have to go to the health department. I spoke to the employee and manager on duty. The was manager was polite, apologised and comped my meal. The employee's response was that she "didn't get paid enough to give a F". Glad your experiences have been better than mine. But I'll still pass on Domino's pizza, thank you. Have a lovely day😊

I drove for Domino's too when I was in school. It was a great job, everybody was so friendly and relaxed. I quit because it was too much wear and tear in my car

I had a buddy of mine work at Domino's during college delivering pizza! He would make bank on the weekends!

I started at Dominos that a franchisee who knew Monahan, owned it. It was way before Monahan bought the Tigers. It was my second job, until I moved up by taking classes and training. I became a manager. My only regret is that my family didn't help me with the investment in my own franchise, which was only $15,000 to "purchase". Just a missed opportunity.

​​​@@secredeath it WAS cheap. As of this year it is expensive now. Their coupons suck. The old 5.99 carry out went up to 6.99 and this year it went to 7.99. Could be that im in California but the pizzas went up about $2 and that's with the "coupons" and carry out deals. The carry out deal used to be $7. Now it's $8.99. It's garbage.

I've heard pizza is very expensive in the UK, but in Australia which has an even higher cost of living it's apparently cheaper than US prices for some reason.

It's not though if someone is allergic to a topping. My boyfriend is allergic to mushrooms. Cross contamination

We placed those on the "Destroyer" pizzas only, not sure they call it that anymore or offer it. Never picked out toppings. Cheese was a whole separate station, so that could be reused on any pizza.

I tried the large pepperoni take and bake. Not worth it. The crust was horribly bad. Much worse than even Little Caesars.

We did that. We would "trade" food from other fast food. Usually KFC.

Well it depends on how many toppings you have. Just because you order double, it depends on how many toppings on that pizza. A one topping w/ double toppings will look different than a pizza with multiple double toppings. For each extra topping the number goes down. It still has to cook correctly and there isn't a lot of time to pay attention when a pizza needs to be extra cooked because a consumer just had to have double toppings.

Real cheese...the food industry has become masters at producing essentially, synthetic (unhealthy) edible chemicals that simulate the taste, smell, texture of real food...and not just cheese.

i used to work at Dominos, nothing is frozen, only refrigerated, and yes it’s real cheese

I've noticed that - there's an option on the app to make the pizza 'well done' and I always select that, especially with the pan pizza.

That's not true. It goes through a conveyor belt timed, so the dough may have been overproofed, but it was not undercooked.

@@P11247 I used to work at a pizza place they have doors on the side of the oven where the pizza can be put in so it doesn't stay in the oven as long. The thin crust needs more time. It's not that good when it is soft instead of crispy.

@@jeremymarsh1377 I was a manager. You do not open any oven doors. Not sure where you worked, but it was not Dominos. As for thin crust, it does not need more time. Thick crust aka deep dish is placed and the time is set. Again, any gooey dough is either overproofed or underproofed.

Yes its convenience. So many people don't understand that. You clearly weren't willing to get up and get your own food. You should have a delivery charge. And the majority of that charge doesn't even go to the driver.

If you had time to prep and make your own then yes I would totally agree with you. Alot of people, especially right now, don't have the time to make their food from scratch.

It's not that cheap anymore when you factor in the rising costs of the ingredients.

Most people aren't willing to put in the effort to lower their food costs to save money because they don't want to give up on the stuff they enjoy or become less picky. If money was really an issue for them they would really figure out how to prepare bulk meals (yes even for families) and live with having to eat some of the same stuff over again. Food is fuel, and most people are just lazy.

Seriously, most likely no.t the dough. More like the toppings may not have been as fresh. If the dough was not cooked enough, you would have called and had them make you a new one, or placed it in the over. No pizza can hold up with undercooked dough, can't even really be cut. Like I have mentioned before, maybe under proofed or over proofed.

@@P11247 As someone said previously most likely it's due to having excessive toppings. Or it was over-topped by someone who either is new to the job or someone who doesn't care about their job. Whether you get 9 toppings or 1 topping all pizzas go through the oven for the same time unless specified for well-done. Totally understandable for them to call back though I would go ahead and just remake that pizza I would just do it myself.

Yeah but with mix and match deals and the OLO 50% so often most people never pay full price for their pizzas. If anything most people use mix and match or 20% off. You could get a couple large peps at little caesars for around $14 dollars or do the mix n match at Dominos and get better quality pizzas for $12.97, even though they are mediums. Most people choose Dominos.

They have stuffed crust in the UK, I wish they would bring it here to the US - I wonder if it's some trademark or other issue with Pizza Hut.
