The real reason they got ghost off the show is because his character was overshadowing everyone else. How many seasons has he been gone and he character still is untouched. If he would have remained he would've had too much star power. 50 cents knows this

@issi4ever6234 ай бұрын
I agree - Ghost was a character who wanted to leave the drug game since season 1. I wanted for Ghost to have a happy ending. After season 2, I think that the writers should have made it so Ghost was out of the game. With Julio and Tommy the new kingpins. Ghost was someone that the audience could relate to. He was a man trying to do better. He had wealth, night clubs and intelligence (spoke English and Spanish) plus a strong physical stature. Ghost of season 1 and 2 was a different character compared to the character's portrayal thereafter. You could feel omaris' frustration in this interview.

The Dynamics between Kanan & Shawn or Ghost & Tariq relate directly to 50's personal life. Agree, and why I stopped watching Power. Initially, Ghost wanted to turn legit, but they had the character of Tasha acting like a stereotypical crab, who wanted to stay in that life. He was trying to better himself and his family while she wanted to stay in stay in the drug life. To me that just wasn’t a good look - Tasha was a horrible representation of Black woman and a Black mother. It seems like the show was just going off in any direction to keep getting more buildup and more views, and the storyline changed drastically. And I always thoughts it was kind of weird how Tariq suddenly blamed Ghost for everything even though Tariq is the one who got his sister killed; but suddenly everything was Ghost’ fault . It was just too much bad writing for me, too much stereotyping and not enough of I’m in this to do better and to get out. And can we please stop with the tropes of the Black son constantly hating his Black father

Writing Omari back into the show will help his career. After all, every project he’s ever worked on before & after his roll on Power was less than mediocre at best.
