The best one was when Bernadette turned in his mother. I don't know how they did it, but, she match his mother's voice tone for tone!

It was done by Melissa Rausch...no special effects or anything like that. I learned this when I read the book entitled "The Big Bang Theory," which was all about the show. She said she used to practice that voice while driving in her car, because she didn't want to be screeching while she was at home, and scare her husband and child!

the minute I heard her voice I knew who the actress was, she has a VERY unique voice. I thought we might see her sooner or later but the way they did it worked well

Al's mom from Home Improvement and Iola's mom from Mama's Familly gave me the same vibe in a few ways all 3 were never really seen.

omg,as many times as i have seen the wedding episode, i never noticed (or focused on ) anything / anyone outside the heart at the wedding when they start to pan out

As much as I'll remember Carol Ann Suzi for Mrs. Walowitz, I'll always remember her as Monique Marmelstein on Kolchak: The Night Stalker.

Couls have added the fact that a small picture of Carol Ann Susi, Howard's mom, on Sheldon's and Leonard's fridge. The idea was that that way she would be in all future episodes. ❤

I know some cartoon characters don’t show their faces either. Take the power puff girls. The lady in the red dress didn’t show her face when she was talking to the mayor.

Mostly Tom and Jerry u don't see the human faces because they are taller compared to Tom and Jerry 😂

The biggest problem was that she was meant to be very ugly. Poor aging left a serious mark and seeing that face all the time would require a lot of work for only a few appearances on screen.
