Hi Dave! I wanted to bring it up to you about 3 different times where they tried to reboot a classic show that I remember as a kid. That show was Greatest American Hero and then in 1986 the original cast appeared on the season pilot of the show called Greatest American Heroin where Ralph has to pass his suit from the aliens onto someone else because he became too famous to wear it any longer. Ralph finds a female to wear the suit and Robert Culp would work as the FBI agent with the new super hero. I only found one episode on Tubi. Then when I went to look up information on the show more than one show popped up. In 2007 they tried to reboot Greatest American Hero and it did not last as long as the original show. Plus, in 2017 they tried to reboot the 1986 TV show Greatest American Heroin. It also flopped.

You cannot compare Norman Fell's 'Mr. Roper', and Don Knott's 'Mr. Ferley' characters. Both characters were uniquely and brilliantly played by the actors, giving both characters a separate life, and a charm that only those two actors could.

Mr. Furley (Don) was more into makin’ those wobbly-necked, googley eyed 😳 faces and being a mix of clueless Chrissie and physical comedian Jack. We didn’t need more of the same thing in a new character. So, what was enjoyed about the Ropers is their characters were “normal” people - they were down to earth to offset the roommates’ goofiness and the scenarios they’d find themselves in - Mr. Ropers was representing us interacting with Jack, Chrissie, and Janet in that way. Because of course we’d be shaking our head at them and making fun of them etc..

John Ritter the son of tex Ritter many of the old Hollywood establishment either friends or fans of tex Ritter were determined to turn his boy into a star. John Ritter was a good actor but a terrible comedic actor. We're I in charge no way he would have got that part. Suzanne Somers would have gotten her raise and the Ropers never would have left. Don Knott's would have continued making features, and Jack's character really would have been gay. Plus there's be more hispanis,Asians, and Blacks in the series. Norman Fell carved his character out of stone perfectly as "Stanley Roper." I totally respected his not wanting to do that spinoff, citing that "Three's Company" was good work, spin-offs didn't always work, and until "Three's Company" began, he hadn't a lot of long run successfully acting jobs that worked. Take nothing away from Don Knotts, a "6x Best Supporting Actor In A Situation Comedy Winner," but Norman Fell was a consummate professional during his tenure on that show, and should have had full run on it.

Well..Norman Fell was the MC and he had ovations like a rock star!!! He had a big smile on his face and really happy to be there with all these young people that knew his work!!

My favorite secondary character for sure! Despite her looking extremely old for a lady in her late 50s doing the show (She honestly looked 70-75) her warm welcoming personality was so genuine and there's just something about her you can't help but really like. It's like, who cares if she looks rough for her age. She's such a great person on the inside you overlook that and see her for who she is. A very kind lady that will make you feel like family.

Roman's 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles (MOST modern day Europeans/Caucasians/ etc) be come in. (Yes there are some black “dark skinned” gentile people as well but the main gentiles ruling this world behind the scenes are in fact “white” gentiles. Gentiles are known for being practitioners of lawlessness although not ALL gentiles are lawless but rather Most as a whole. Part of the blindness is that we would not know who the true Father of Jacob(Israel) was and that we would worship false gods of [wood and stone] partially referring to worship of the cross(wood) and the “idol” of christianity the “jesus” that hangs on the cross tends to be made of (stone). Worship not literally meaning to bow down and speaking in gibberish nonsense tongue waving hands up and down, but rather worshiping meaning “To Submit To/Obey”. The speaking in tongue that some Christians do is nonsense, speaking in tongue only refers to the ability of being able to speak in a language or many languages to spread your message across multiple nations. Smh Deuteronomy 28:36 TMH shall bring thee, and thy king which thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation which neither thou nor thy fathers have known; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone. Deuteronomy 28:64 And TMH shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone. Just as important as "what's his name," is "what is not his name." However, it is 100% certain that his name was not Esus Crios aka “Jesus Christ”, the idol of the Celtics who the Catholics sing at Easter in the Vatican, aka what all surface level “Holy Bible” readers (Commonly identifies as “Christians”) refer to the Anointed One as. We have been tricked, deceived as a result of the curses of the law (Deut 28-64)...wake up and stop following the lies of the Gentiles that govern this world. True Israel is awakening. I am no historian but I love researching and proving all truth. It was the so-called "Holy" Roman Catholic Church that banned us from reading certain books. Do not trust the Adversary's agents of deceit and destruction. The Catholic Church is not a good moral compass. Catholic meaning Universal. They literally crusaded all over the world, had TMH’s people murdered, burned women alive, and made laws against poor people (peasants) from having translated Bibles and books of education in the past. Who are they to condemn a book for any of us to read? They are certainly in no position to order us and they are most certainly NOT our Creator nor the Savior. Do not trust those who come in sheep's clothing but are rather ravaging wolves. It has been told of us to be as harmless as doves AND as wise as serpents. For one to be wise, You must research and READ, and educate yourself, AND prove ALL TRUTH. The only one to lead you is The Most High. Pray for insight but don't trust when LIARS tell you NOT to read something but approve of what you “Should”! It is good that we pray for you, and I do hope you pray for me as well. However, the decision is ours as to whether or not we fully submit to his will. The Most High wants us to submit to his will through our own decisions. That is why the Messiah says if any man comes to me, let him deny HIMSELF. That is why the word also says to be transformed by the renewing of OUR minds. That’s why it says every man will have to give an account for what he hath done. It is personal accountability and the sooner we accept this, the closer we will become to actually making the decisions that will make us submit fully to his will And for those of you who deny the existence of The Most High or don’t take the ancient scriptures seriously, you need to seriously wake up. Biblical prophecy is literally unfolding right before our eyes. This is not a game. A few notable mentions: Women wearing makeup should repent and change no debate, people who smoke weed (sorcery) should repent and change no debate, people who eat upon the flesh of animals… should reconsider. Everything is going according to prophecy, even ‘they’ have to move accordingly.. Go and sin no more and put in work for the kingdom. He that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved. We’re living in end times yall. APTTMH! Visit Ahayah-Truth. Co m

I watched this show from it's inception - I was only 8 years old! I can't believe my parents let me watch it. I thoroughly understood from day one that they were pretending that Jack preferred men so he could live with them - I don't know how, because I didn't know any gay men. I also remember how it was a big deal to have a show where unmarried men and women were roommates. In the early 90s when I moved to California, I ended up having two male roommates when I moved to my second place. I couldn't believe that I was living in my own "Three's Company." I still have a chuckle about it. It's interesting, because if you watch this show now, it is clear that it is one of the best sitcoms in television history.

This was fun reminiscing. I probably watched all of these episodes growing up. I was sad when Chrissy left, but I watched for Jack. Janet was the constant and underappreciated for sure! I found the cousin beyond annoying trying to be funny and intentionally clumsy. Watching Jennilee Harris trying to fill Suzanne's shoes was awkward in every way. As for Priscilla Barnes, she brought a different ditsy and I wished she had been a little more interesting or had some amount of depth beyond a nurses uniform, but she was a step up from Jenilee. Overall - I loved the Ropers and I loved Furley. I watched the Ropers and I liked it OK except the neighbors were mismatched and wouldn't be a couple. He is obviously Gayer than Jack pretended to be. Don Knotts can do no wrong when placed in a certain element and that was one that fit him like a psychedelic glove. It does bring back memories. Fun to watch.

I think it was in the Wikipedia article I read on the series that said that the four women you named as the roommates were not the only ones! I think there was at least one pilot (maybe two) with two other sets of actresses that did not poll well with focus groups before they found Joyce and Suzanne. So Jack had a total of 6 roommates! I always thought it was such a shame they didn't let the Ropers come back in some way, maybe as neighbors, or maybe they could have co-owned the apartment complex with Mr. Furley. And the actress who was brought in later, and her character was always scheming to get Jack, but he wasn't interested, she kind of got a raw deal too. I never warmed up to her character, but they didn't really give her a chance to catch on before they dropped her.

Jenilee Harrison Used to be Reggie Jackson Girl friend, She was also a LA Rams Cheerleader, & Posed for Playboy magazine. She could have worked out on three's company, had they wrote her character less dumb down, & accident prone. She's an amazing woman and great actress. Priscilla Barnes grew up the daughter of a Major in the United States Air force. Before starting her acting career, she worked as a waitress, and her bio states dancer. I'm guessing that she was an exotic dancer back then. Considering the times. Her character as Terry was definitely the best choice, and IMO she actually saved the show from a total collapse. She too is an amazing actress. Not to mention a bright and sweet woman. Without her on Three's company it was sure to fail. Suzann Summers was truly the best person for the job, but her manager and husband got greedy. He had thought that the show couldn't survive without her. He was almost proved to be right. Everyone knows John Ritter was an amazing person, and we will forever miss him. Norman Fell, He was a Freemason, he worked in TV & movies long before Three's company. He was very important to show, and even though they got Don Knots to take his place, the show always lacked after Norman left. I still love those first 5 seasons. after that it started losing that special something that the show started giving in the beginning. Thanks for the video. You may want to pin this at the top, as I don't know why you didn't bring up any of these facts. you sure did an amazing job with everything else. this was a great video. Peace..
