They forgot the soap opera though, that ensues when some entitled 'member from the very start' things something isn't going right and starts to sue the club for what ever reason. I am pretty sure my father only stayed so long for the monthly newsletter where they were explaining the whole Drama ;)

@@SamFAHntha - I know a guy, disabled, on disability. took up golf as part of his physiotherapy. Started socialising with the guys in the clubhouse. Started hating immigrants and benefit claimants voted for Brexit, voted for Johnson. Got dobbed in for playing golf whilst claiming disability, got thrown off benefits cos he was fit enough to play golf and therefore not disabled... Had to get a job on minimum wage so no longer qualified for the physiotherapy [golf] to be paid by the government and he cant afford it, so he is now sat at a desk all day and his busted back is now ruining his life again... Im not making this story up - its a relative of mine by marriage.

My Son and I recently applied to join a well known Scottish golf club and this sketch just summed up the whole procedure so we knocked that on the head and decided to stick to fishing.

Being a greenkeeper at prestigious golf club I got to see the very essence of entitlement and expectations but it was the committee that really pulled all the strings on how things went down so this is absolute gold for me 😂

Aaaah, I would give you my own but I am literally planning a whole week (hope the bosses will allow it, hmpf, they weren't pretty keen on me taking days off this month when I went to Exeter...but they know about my obsession with the lads so they let me go xD) to go to Frankfurt, then Marburg (where I used to live three years ago!) then Frankfurt again to see the lads then back home. Might see a show about a week before the lads at another Frankfurt's venue too (one of my fave German singers, I am a bit of a Germanophile you know, can't wait to come back!!! I WILL SOON LIVE THERE FOREVER, NO ONE CAN STOP ME TO GET TO MY WAHLHEIMAT!)

Played miniature golf (as it's called here) years ago as an office team building event. Had a great time, altho putting uphill into the lion's mouth was tricky. Great sketch!

Bahhaha! Good one. It's mini golf here in USA. The original Putt Putt had tournaments and my husband and his dad used to participate in the local tour. Our twin boys, however, definitely embrace Crazy Golf and try to hit the ball over property fences, into the water, and into the next runs hole😄

I grew up in rural New Zealand. We had a farm that had been converted to a golf course. It was huge. Green fees consisted of a small honesty-box, with a coin-slot. No-one checked ever checked if you'd paid.

My mum gifted my dad a golfing course, because all his peers were playing golf and all the important stuff was discussed there 😂 By the way, you're really not allowed to wear a T- Shirt on the golf course. They'll actually remind you and tell you to come back once you're properly clothed.

How bizarre, Hastings (my town) is where the annual crazy golf championship happens and where I met my (now deceased) husband, he bought my club and ball and asked me to play on his team. I tried to repay him but he asked for a hot chocolate (it was a cold day on the sea front) instead and that was our first date (2 weeks later, he proposed to me over a clumsy drunken WhatsApp message) this sketch made me a bit sad. Not your fault at all lads, you had fun making it. See you on Friday in Vicar Street!
