@@user-sp6co7wn5v Angry? We weren’t supposed to be here. We were supposed to be fighting for 7 or 8, not 1 or 2. I don’t even care what happens in the playoffs. We just need the playoff experience to come back next season and be a more complete team. Even if we get swept in the first round, we’ll be a better team for it next year. It’s still a process. But the point remains. When the top three teams are within a game of each other and have been for 75% of the season, it’s basically a 3-way tie. If you want to be stupid about it, no, it’s not precisely a 3-way tie. But neither is being up 1 game “dominating the west”.

Well, the Nuggets are a smaller market team than the Wolves, yet they got their championship. The problem with the Wolves is that they are type of a forgotten team, the past 20 years (with the exception of the last few seasons) have been nothing but a bottom spot in the conference. I remember an ex NBA player (can't remember his name though) saying that their mentality when traveling to Minneapolis was like "Wolves? Oh we're gonna have some fun crushing them." I am paraphrasing of course, but it was obvious that ever since Garnett left the Wolves, they have become somewhat of a feast, a free win type of team in the league. No team was giving their best to beat them, they looked like the Pistons are looking now in this season, and they looked like that for a couple of seasons. This is why is it's difficult for the media to even talk about them. Here we are, in 2023/24, the Wolves played the Nuggets a couple of nights ago, but the media barely let out a fart about it, instead they talked about Jokic's triple double in the latest game against the Cavaliers. Nevermind how the Wolves crushed the Nuggets, nevermind how powerless the Nuggets looked in that game, the media just swallowed it and let it marinate. It's very sad to see how such a team gets so little from the media, who will rather stick to the dying breeds of LeBros and Curries because that's what the audience still wants, disregarding talent coming from other parts of the USA. Just focus on the LAL, LAC, GSW, PHX, simply because of the familiar names playing in those teams. If Anthony Edwards was as silent as Kawhi during his San Antonio years, just put your head down and work, do not try to draw attention to yourself type of guy, the Wolves would have gotten even less publicity.
