It's a option for you aswell as someone else but be careful. People be quick to abuse the truck in tuff times..... and leave it abandoned . So have that in writing .... always hold back 2 week payments to them on lease purchase ..

I hope everything works out. There a people that may need the lease purchase because they are not in position to buy a truck right away. Just talk to your attorney and accountant about it. Be safe.

Every time I go to colorado I never have a problem getting out of there I usally do a siaa motor freight relay from Colo to salt lake city or ill dead head to lecompton or topeka ks and load there and some good loads come out of Colorado but I usally do the siaa relay to salt lake pays good

I’m hoping that the coolant issue will be resolved before the new driver takes the truck over and not that he runs it a short time and you have to put the truck in the shop to get it fixed and then worry about revenue is coming in to cover the salary!!????

Business 101 Use the banks money, build business credit...I would rather use the banks money by a decent truck, Keep your own cash for emergency repairs. You either get a loan to get a decent truck up front, or eventually you will need a loan to repair it on the backend, and that will be harder then getting a loan to buy a truck, Unless you got lots of cabbage in the bank. Older trucks need Rebuilds, they are not cheap, new trucks are under warranties, or you can purchase a warranty to cover the break downs, protecting your investment, buy trucks with no more then 500,000. its not reasonable to think your going to do everything cash, no business is completely cash unless your a waffle house! You burn your cash on cheap trucks with no warranty is dangerous.. The tow bill will wipe out one weeks worth of pay, and the repair could wipe out a months worth of pay. Then you have to play catch up , hoping nothing else will happen for a long time. Trucking is brutal, no matter how clever you think you are... It never fails, go ask any long time trucker, once you save up a lot of money thinking everything is good, Boom! Satan finds out you have it and he wants it! I'm not trying to be negative I just know how it works! haha Hope all works out !

i went to my secretary of state to start my LLC. I had my DBA before I became an LLC. That was a long time ago, but all i remember is that I went to the bank and set up a DBA account.

Wow… you have a big learning curve ahead of you.Hiring a driver working with Landstar dry box? Most owners operators have trouble on their own. Let alone new truck registration in the LLC name . Now workmens comp. Payroll .. IRS… cards for the driver. 6 grand a week and you only get 1/2? So 3k to truck working 70+ hours? Most company drivers gross over 2500 only working 70. Just doesn’t add up unless your paying swift money 😮

That would be gross 6k not including fuel, truck insurance or maintenance. One of the 2 of them aren’t gonna be making no money

@@timsanders8596yep…6k on his good week cheating sleep and ELD. New driver will be lucky to pull 2500 out of landstar. But he’ll find his truck sitting in a parking lot after 2-3rd week when driver is broke and never home. Driver will be luckily he doesn’t owe money after first week. Good thing he has utube.
