I love the collaboration between McLaren and Mercedes. Honestly, Mercedes collaborates with other non-super sr organizations, such as maybach and still manages to impress thousands of people with how nice the car is. The SLR Roadster is definitely my favorite simplistic car! Keep Smashing it manny!

Hi Manny, back in the early 2000's I was contracted by McLaren to assemble the bonnet, doors, boot and spoiler for these cars. Got the job because of my aerospace composite background. Worked on roughly S/N 200 - 250. Anyways glad to see appreciation for this beast of a car.

There are a few very quick electric SUV's starting to surface, there is one in the prototype stage that is doing 0-60 in 3.5 seconds, thats as quick as this McClaren. Bigger cars but much lighter so this looks like it will be the norm soon, so imagine what an electric super car should be able to do, warp factor 3.

Jeez I love this car! I first saw this beauty at the Geneva Motorshow in 2003 and was hooked right away. It’s a rare beast even on Swiss roads. The moment I win the lottery I’ll buy a coupe and a convertible. SLR forever!

I remember once i was on my way to work on a bus when i saw an SLR in a luxory car rental and i jumped off from the bus just to see my favorite car in person! A guy was cleaning it and he let me sit in it! I felt like i'm in heaven! ..just imagen ...using public transportation 😭 and the next moment i was in my dream car! Amazing car! Still ju$t a dream!
