Күн бұрынIn this video I teach The REAL Secret to Making Your Melodies Full with the color spectrum method. The low end is usually the blue hues, the mids are (somewhat cyan) and green, and the mid highs yellow, highs orange and red.
This method is perfect to use when trying to make any genre of melodies full in my opinion, not just trap, but i did this one for example.

the way u eqed the triton layer helped me a lot. i noticed it was hard to hear before u mixed the mel and i was always thinking to cut off frequencies from other layers but nah boosting is fine. u fr just helped my mix a lot

Thats crazy... I actually use that same color code on all my melody tracks using that same spectrum guide...usually 3 of each color.

@@0piumaeternum I understand how it might have been confusing but come on now I was using the color spectrum in general. I put the picture of the light spectrum on the thumbnail because it looks good. Technically it still applies just in a different way. Y'all know exactly what I was talking about don't do that lol u see everybody fucks with it regardless.

How do you get your sounds and 808s to stop on a dime with next Note not clashing in to the next or when you want a dry spot for a beat drop? 💪🏿💯

Put your 808s on “Cut Itself” after right clicking them on your channel rack, or go into your instrument settings after clicking in your channel rack and edit the envelope in your volume with the “Hold” knob full, and the others empty

The bank is in there u have to drag it into the channel rack or right click and put it on there, I found out you can save the presets in the vst and make them like that but this way is kind of easier to me idk

@@rottcashgang nah I'm saying because I just discovered today you don't have to manually link the sounds into the mixer you can do it automatically by dragging it onto the track and not clicking the first option after like 1,5 years of fl
