Not true. while envy said "I assume you need something to pay the toll", all it truly did was give Edward enough power to bring all three of them from gluttony's stomach to the real world. If Edward DIDNT use envys red stone, it would have just taken Edward out alone. By using the strength of the red stone he was able to pull everyone out at once. Edward would have used his own body as the human material needed for the human transmutation but it only would've worked on him which would have left Alphonse and Envy fucked in a pit of hell

@@danikaflorence444 Edward DID need Envy's red stone, it's energy to be exact. False Gates are Gluttony's ability, which uses red stone. So it's basic sense, that you'd need red stone to undo it. Otherwise, it implies you can just freely move in/out as you wish.

​@@midnightsrequiem3909seriously. Dude was so injured and bleeding out. Still had the willpower to not only accurately carve a transmutation circle into his hand while still bleeding out. But was able to then burn his open wound without passing out for a long duration of time. Still able to stumble about to defeat his target. Loved that moment so much.

Lust cut his glove so that the circle was broken. She tried soaking him first but he transmuted the water into hydrogen gas and pure oxygen to BBQ her. My theory for why this doesn't work in the rain is just quantity. The rain keeps falling faster than he can realistically transmute it.

As much as I know, interaction between ultimate shield and ultimate spear isn't stated anywhere. Even more, it isn't stated how ultimate spear works, so this moment is open for discussion/free interpretation. It would make sense, if spear is more powerful, for example, using philosopher's stone energy to destroy molecular/atomic composition. Then Greed would become just a punching bag, as his ability would be utterly useless.

Well, technically, what can Wrath do to Envy? Though Wrath is much better at fighting strong fragile opponents (alchemists), his abilities are just ineffective against Envy, or other homunculi.

@@luccid8288 yeah, and the way the FMA homunculi all had direct ties to the characters’ pasts was a nice touch. FMAB was definitely better overall by a wide margin but FMA had a handful of things that I liked better than FMAB
