One win in the last couple years against one particular guy who is extremely one-dimensional and in the weakest division… that tells us almost nothing about Jones’s level now compared to today’s best guys like Islam for example who is beating everyone including fellow top p4p guys in the toughest division. Jones proved he was among the very best many many years ago, but that is a different era, it is irrelevant to today’s list. Plus he’s among the most egregious cheaters we’ve ever seen, which should disqualify him from contention entirely anyway. If Jones was the p4p best he’d book to fight Aspinall asap and beat him with ease, but he won’t because he can’t because he’s not.
