The Real Winners & Losers from NFL Week 18. Quarterbacks Tua, Trevor Lawrence, Gardner Minshew all fall short in big moments. Josh Allen, Jordan Love, Mason Rudolph & C.J. Stroud all lead their teams to huge wins to advance or improve their playoff position.

Physical therapist here. Sprains are tears. The grade of sprain dictates the severity of the tear. Grade 1 is equivalent to micro tears e.g. rolling your ankle. Grade 2 is a moderate-to-severe tear in which there is true ligamentous laxity, but it is still intact, which is what Watt sustained. Still unbelievable that he may be able to play in 2 weeks with a brace, but it's not my body. Grade 3 sprain is a full tear in which the ligament is no longer intact. Grade 4 is a newer classification indicating an avulsion fracture in which the bone that the ligament attaches to is fractured away from the bone fully. Similar to grade 3 but it pulled the bone. Hope this helps
@patrickmcpartland1398
@patrickmcpartland1398 6 ай бұрын
All sprains are tears, just different degrees of a one. Now maybe colloquially you know a tear as a full tear or grade 3 sprain, but that doesn't make grade one and two sprains not tears..... if we're correcting people let's actually be correct.
@patrickmcpartland1398
@patrickmcpartland1398 6 ай бұрын
Correction on myself, a sprain can also just include over stretching of the ligament as well, put saying he didn't tear he just sprained a ligament is still incorrect. I'll come back with any other corrections to myself amd OP I come up with as I can.

In defense of Steichen’s playcall, the call itself was fine. Goodson was wide open, and he had a better chance of getting to the marker than JT would’ve which is why the play had Goodson in there (better pass-catching RB than JT). The texans were clearly expecting a run and the call got the designed man wide open. Minshew didn’t throw the ball well, and Goodson also could’ve reached a bit more. Both are true. There’s a bunch of actual analysts who’ve talked about it and why the call was fine. And I love JT and I also was in disbelief as to why he wasn’t out there when I was watching the game. But after going back and looking at it, the call was fine. The personnel (in theory) was fine. Minshew threw it poorly.

Calvin's record breaking season, Coop's triple crown (including SB MVP), and now Puka's rookie season. And let's also appreciate the fact that Les Snead and McVay keep finding these late round gems (Coop, Kyren, Puka, Kobie Turner, Byron Young, Tyler Higbee, Ernest Jones, Joseph-Day, Jordan Fuller, and I'll even put Stetson Bennett in there), all throughout the draft the past few years. So can we get the Calvin Johnson award next? For the best receiver on a losing team perhaps? That one might be a little difficult to decide.

@@Isthatthegrimreaper170 I wouldn't trade it for the world. It'll be interesting though, because my mom is a Bills fan, born and raised in Buffalo, but my dad's a Steelers fan and I have been my whole life. He and I got to watch our team go all the way in 2005, and then again in 08. My mom celebrated right there with us those two years, so I think we owe it to her to root for Buffalo this Sunday. They have a real shot this year, and nothing would make this family happier than seeing Buffalo finally bring home a trophy.

Giving other teams the excuse of “We thought you might be faking the kneel down, so we rushed you full-speed, sorry your center blew out his ACL because he wasn’t expecting it” probably isn’t a good move for a teammate. You want more Greg Schiano plays? Because this is how you get more Greg Schiano plays.

The falcons once caught an interception on the last play of the game vs the saints and even though they were winning they lateraled the ball a couple times in order to return it for a touchdown. You could say what the saints did is revenge.

I legitimately can't believe people are faulting Steichan for getting a back wide open, and him dropping a pass to lose the game. If you want to blame anyone else other than goodson, blame minshew for putting the pass behind him. Steichan called a play that got him open, it's on minshew and goodson.
