Is it just me or do Portia and Anne have a very similar look to them? It makes me wonder if Ellen really did want to be with Anne Heche unfortunately she wasn’t willing to be with someone who wasn’t able to stay quiet and extremely private. I suppose that makes sense career wise! But at the end of the day, true love, authenticity and being free is much more valuable. In my opinion at least.

She had already run into another building. So whatever noise you hear probably came from that. Also remember she had cocaine in her system so may have been fleeing the scene since she might have been arrested for the previous accident. It’s sort of like what Amy Loraine did (rear end a car then take off and end up crashing into another car causing a fatal accident while drunk) except Loraine killed somebody else. Heche’s first crash was just a few minutes before her fatal one. It may have damaged the car.

I ran out of the house once with only pajamas on. No shoes, either and it was in December and about 25 degrees. I ran because I was being abused. Did it ever cross your mind that there may have been a good reason she didn’t even stop to put shoes on. I hid outside, freezing, for hours until I could get help because I didn’t even stop long enough to grab my phone. Finally, I flagged a car down and the man let me use his phone to call the police. If anyone would have seen me they would have thought I was crazy for being barefoot in my pj’s on a cold December night. Just goes to show you don’t know what you don’t know.

I did that, too. I was 11, and being abused by my "Mother" with Narcissistic Personality Disorder. It was also 3:00 AM. Edit: my younger brother did the same thing a year later. She got banned from my high school (Sir Robert Borden High School in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada) because she was so awful to deal with.

And what of note has Portia actually done, even in TV series? Only really Ally MacBeal and Arrested Development, and in the former she didn’t really have a major role, and the latter really only had sporadic success

There's video of her hitting a building before she hit the house. A man was talking to her and trying to get her to get out of the car and she told him no and then sped off. There's ring video of her speeding down 2 different streets and then she goes out of view and you can hear the crash. It's really awful.😢 There's also video from a helicopter, but pretty zoomed in, of her sitting up on the stretcher right as they are putting her in the ambulance. I don't recommend watching the last one underaged or if you are easily upset. It has. graphic content.
