What they need to do is take the assets from battlefront classic collection and build a third game with class customization, and space to ground combat. Make a few sequel era maps out of that stuff and rebuild Elite Squadrons entire campaign with battlefront 2 assets. They can do it, they can even like commission modders that worked on the battlefront 3 legacy mod to do it for them. It’s harder than I’m making it sound, but it’s easier than they think it is.

Battlefront 1 and 2 was definitely playable on Playstation. The online never worked well for me but we would get the extra controller port thing and play 4 way split screen. Those were the good old days

I think it all depends on if the bf3 project is still available. If so, that'd be pretty easy to button up the rest to fully finish it, but if they have to recreate it, I'm not so sure it will ever be made. I'm personally thinking about buying the old bf2 from steam just so I can mod the bf3 legacy mod into it.

The original Star Wars Battle front games had something The new ones didn't had a sense of being an arcade shooter. I loved when in the original game you could actually be the only soldier left on your side and actually hold out against countless waves of The enemy hopefully you've the only clone or droid or Stormtrooper Or rebel soldier left could hold out. And Win the game by yourself. You had a real sense of a last stand But that Was with bots I doubt It's going to be easy to be a last stand situation with actual players.

It's gonna blow the Destroy All Humans remaster out of the water sales-wise even though they obviously put way more work in the former, which was a blast!

As much as I would love for Arrowhead to be in charge of the next battlefront they Have their hands Full with helldivers

Battlefront 3 will be great but honestly I see them re-releasing it because Star Wars is so fucked right now, combined with the fact EA keeps cancelling every project possible which makes me wonder why they even had the rights in the first place and don’t forget they chose to focus on BF 2042 despite everything going well for EA BF2 and their still going even though it failed. So that’s why the collection exists, to be honest there is a small chance for Battlefront 3 literally a small one.

I actually do want the Star Wars Battlefront III that was ALMOST DONE from Free Radical. Just SOME of the gameplay footage ALONE is ALL OVER KZfaq. I see SOME of my FAVORITE Star Wars Battlefront KZfaqrs like Bombastic ACTUALLY got to play the unfinished Battlefront III.

I guess they could release the unreleased Battlefront 3 and i'd get it but having just recently invested all this money in a really quite decent pc i want to utilize my graphics. They visually did a really good job with the new two battlefronts, the gameplay was alright/ok but the point system to get units and no spawn to get in vehicles was really shitty. Also i don't want a 3rd person Star Wars Battlefront anymore, it just looked so much better looking down the sights in the new battlefronts and i enjoyed playing that way, however most people did not so i was constantly against people that would play in 3rd person and would see me around corners whereas i couldn't see them because i was first person. Don't get me wrong, i loved looking at the models of the characters in 3rd person in the new battlefronts they looked awesome, but i would trade that in a second if you could make really decent fps view for lightsabers and all the units and guns/weapons. Arrowhead doing a battlefront game, i'd veto that on a personal level because i don't want to play a mostly 3rd person game if they wanted to roll with that formula again and also I would be very speculative as to whether or not that studio could pull another hell divers 2 but a different game. That's not say they haven't done a quite good job on Hell divers 2 based on my limited game time (only played for 3 or so hours so i can't give it a fully recommend rating only because i haven't seen all the game has to offer) but there has been some games like bethesda's "Redguard" which tried to innovate and according to Todd Howard (the main director behind skyrim/oblivion and i think he may have been morrowind as well?) some quote like this: "failed spectacularly"" (look at the Lex Fridman interview with todd howard to get his exact words but that was his gist) after coming off the heels of successful games in the Bethesda company. Having played games for as long as you have probably, i'm learning to be highly careful about what games i buy or look into and am now starting to decide where i really want to put my money and also potentially not paying certain studios anymore (haven't decided if i want to go down that route yet) for games. Disney i'm looking at, purely for the fact of disney virtue signalling too much and making bad Star Wars films and marvel films which appear to maybe be pushing an agenda. Not just that but because their studio's keep on cancelling games, 1313, the new Mandalorian game (don't know if this game would have worked out in reality that much as much as i love love Jango and Boba and the mandalorian style armors from The Mandalorian because i've played games like Deathloop with the assassin mechanic that did it better than what The Mandalorian sounded like they were doing based on the limited conversation i think one of the dev's said. These games need to innovate more.). I think maybe some of the functions maybe might work like if they could do a Helldivers 2 galactic style war map maybe that would be good maybe and have an ongoing rebels vs empire / trade federation/ republic. Not sure how they'd make that work though. I would rather see respawn do it (creators of titanfall and titanfall 2), the campaign of titanfall 2 was really good (not sure about the multiplayer but it was fun jumping in and out of titans), but that was supposed was supposed to be a much loved game). Not trying to shoot down your opinion man, just having a dialogue and i'm willing to have my opinion swayed it's just, i wish they kinda did the original battlefronts with new battlefront graphics. I don't know if i want infinity ward making it or even dice making it, maybe Crytek (the makers of the crysis games).

I think for me I like Arrowhead games as well but for me it's not online only but both offline and online capable if it's online only it would kill it for me.

There is an interesting factor alot of people are not taking into acount here.. the recent actions of Disney themselves. I know this might cause a Knee-Jerk bad reaction... but I want to remind people that Disney recently purchased 9 percent of Epicgames shares. For the purpose of... "a multiyear project to create a new games and entertainment universe that will expand the reach of Disney stories. " With this in mind it would make TONS OF SENSE... for Disney to trust Epic games with a Battlefront game. I know feelings about Fortnite are hella mixed but the potential for a great Starwars game is there. For all its Memed to hell fame the shooting mechanics and weapons work pretty well.. so I could easily picture Epic making a really good Starwars game. Im not saying I want a Battle Royale 100 person Starwars game.... far from it honestly. But based on what they have already done within Fortnite.. I think they could do a good job.
