Hardened steel die-stamping tools are used to punch a blank sheet of precious metal to form and cut the ring - just as you image a coin to be produced. This process is incredibly specialised and precise, producing a beautifully compact ring of optimal quality, density, and longevity; each Oxford 55 signet ring really is an heirloom forever.
The Oxford 55 is available for the first time in SMO Gold - a new global standard that guarantees gold is fully traceable to a single mine - which is currently sourced from the Yanfolila mine in Mali, West Africa.
